Watch 18 yr. old Lillie Young testify against anti-citizen ballot initiative legislation at the Idaho Statehouse Feb. 2, 2023. Despite overwhelming opposition from testifiers (40 opposed, 2 in favor), the legislation is expected to pass Idaho's Republican supermajority legislature. If Idaho's constitution is amended with the restrictions in this legislation, grassroots citizen ballot initiatives will be virtually impossible to qualify for the ballot.
