At the first annual BABE VOTE Student Strategy Summit in McCall, Luke Sharon, a high school student from North Idaho, shared his experiences organizing friends to pass a crucial school levy campaign. Luke & his fellow students organized a school walkout and knocked on doors to register nearly 2000 voters in their effort to save their school district from draconian cuts that would have resulted in losses of school sports, music programs and teachers.
Scout Alford, a student from Lewiston and Ella Weber, a University of Idaho student, also addressed young leaders from all over Idaho, who drove from Idaho Falls, Coeur d'Alene, Boise, Meridian & Wallace to participate in BABE VOTE's Student Strategy Summit.
