This is the Dreamer Camper Van XL Select filmed at CMT 2020 in Stuttgart. Dreamer is a brand belong to Rapido using the Fiat Ducato platform. You will notice how extending the height of the roof gives so much more room inside the camper van.
I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.
In my KZread channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.
I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

Really interesting wardrobe/shower and that toilet door does need a rethink. The hob arrangement's pretty groovy, too. Cheers, Alan!
I've been a fan of that closet/shower option with a dry toilet room but quality of construction is paramount. Remember the Balcamp Fiat, high roof bed which I like from a few years ago. I bet a self build in this style would be quite a project but reimo does have the products as a well.... Might be a fun one even if a smaller rear bed to allow more "garage" i.e. Bicycles, larger water capabilities and exchange gas for larger lithium, solar energy capabilities..

I'D GET RID OF THE BACK BED AND REQUEST BUILT IN - floor to ceiling CLOSETS ON BOTH SIDES FOR STORAGE .... LIKE THE ADDED BATHROOM CLOSET FOR A ROBE OR UNDIES ... PRACTICAL FOR SHOWERING BUT THIS NEEDS A WATER UPGRADE ... 100 LITERS IS NOTHING BATHING COOKING AND DISHES .. GREAT VIDEO Alan
Good vid, as always. I like the dual purpose shower/cupboard, but it seems inconsistent to me to do this yet permanently take up half the van space with a bed which you mainly enjoy while unconscious.
Looks like a much better build than some in the states.... JMHO!

Why don't they make this available in the States on the Ram Promaster platform? Make the rear the permanent lounge and they's sell a million of them.

The toilet door slots into place next to the refrigerator. It's a system Dreamer/Rapido designed.

The Eur vans always destroy the US ones in terms of features and price. 58k EUR for this van but I always see Us vans costing more than double that and those have wet baths, small fridges and just 1 bed.
why is there always a needlesss number of beds? with the over head bed in place. the bed in the back could be taken out and used for storage or converted into an office space.
Do you know if they will ever be sold in the US?
PS Allen let me add to the thrifty and economical lifestyle that the engines should be electric, or hybrids, or self-sufficient, or alternative energy, renewable energy etc. including tires or other attributes thank you
I would keep the bed in the roof rip out the back one turn it in to a sitting room and put in solar

They already produce that layout. It's called the Dreamer Living Van.
how does one drain the loo?
Shower wardrobe is a good idea... However mold in the clothes.

Hi Alan. Were there any solar panels? As more & more Van's are utilizing this technology even for cooking but I can imagine about 2 x 600 watts panel might be a minimum requirement.

You need to buy them separately. That will be the case with nearly all vans.
Do they sell unconverted high roof Campervans on their own? I haven't noticed any self converted vans with high roofs on YT.

You can buy them with a high roof but they are not easy to find. You can also buy a roof extension - they are in the equipment catalogues but you will be looking at around EUR4k to cover purchase plus installation.
Dear Alan, could you show more variety of vans you have a tendency to show the same style of vans, camper vans?, Example: Adventure camper vans for the athletic lifestyle, or lounge vans for the social lifestyle, or rugged vans camper vans 4 x 4 amphibians etc. for the great outdoors lifestyle, or renewable energy bands for the efficiency and thrifty and economical lifestyle with plenty of spaceFor cargo and passengers and lastly the compact and mini camper van lifestyle. I do try to show a very wide variety of vehicles on this channel Valery, from the car campers to the big off roads and super luxury vehicles costing over EUR1m. I have never seen an amphibian, other than a converted military vehicle.

Dreamer camper vans
Would love to see these in U.S, but on a Ford chassis. Not a Fiat fan. Similar class Bs here are too damn expensive. There seems to be a pent-up niche market for smaller, more nimble van rigs here. The Ford Transit connect with a high or mid top could be a good choice for a weekender.
