This time last campagin everything was over for the Lightfall gang, where as for Areois things feel as if the bad news is just about to start. So thank you all for an amazing 200 episodes, and then some, with the mini series'! Hears to another 1000. Also Trott's Guitar riffs for the dun duns was tooooo good!!

Well they did bring it to a close after Mark created Aerois. He wasn't happy with the slapdash affair that Lightfall was. Though I was displeased that he decided that Aerois wasn't worth a write up as a campaign setting.

I like the inclusion of the Lichtenberg figures on Aila's body but the real thing would fade away over a 24 hour period.

I like how the Cleric and the Paladin, the Bastions of wisdom saving throws and saving throw auras stayed behind. I know there's no way rhey could've anticipated it but man that was unlucky.

I think Mark starts to realize what a monster he created when he gave Tom the ability to concentrate on two spells :D Beacon of Hope + Auta of Vitality + Mass Cure Wounds + Spellbreaker, how can anyone beat that on support

Tom ages 10 years every time someone says his name.

Finished watching the VOD on Twitch not too long ago because I couldn't wait for it to be released on KZread, and all I can say is congrats on the 100 episodes! I love the new character art too! I was curious if you were planning to update it a while ago and I'm glad it finally happened, the party looks so awesome now. Credit to the artist for that for sure!

I've been watching this series since the start of December 2021, finally reached Episode 100. Another 40+ to go.

Congratulations on the 100th episode (I've finally caught up). All the players are fantastic, and the characters utterly engaging; special kudos to Mark for such excellent world building and story arc. A challenge to create balanced encounters at L13, certainly.

The dramatic tension of seeing Trott roll int, waiting for the result, seeing it be bad, and then wondering how he will portray it. I was not let down.

I kinda feel bad that I already saw this episode on Twitch. My thursday night is all screwed up now. But as always a great episode, and awesome new art.

I like Mark's work. Just something I realized, Mark always says when asked by others can they reference his work in their writing and he always says make your work your own but this character is evidently based on someone else's, or am I misunderstanding? Congrats on 100 eps btw

Aerois is filled with references to movies, books, and TV shows Mark loves - Star Wars and Transformers are probably the most obvious, but there's other smaller references like Metal Gear Solid in this story arc. The thing is, though, they're only references. If you'd never played MGS (and if Kim, Trott, and Tom didn't keep pointing it out) and you watched this arc, you might never notice - there's no character called Snake, there's no Metal Gears (yet), everything's been renamed and rearranged to fit the Aerois setting. If you're familiar with MGS, you have a neat bonus, but if you're not familiar you're not missing out. If you want to run an adventure or even a campaign for your friends in Aerois, or Lightfall, or Tatooine, or Narnia, or Middle Earth, where your players can meet and interact with famous characters from those settings and even save the day, then fill your boots - nobody's going to stop you having fun with your friends. But if you want to make something to show to strangers, it's more effort but more fun and more rewarding to make your own setting with your own characters and your own dramatic tensions. Sure, you'll be inspired by things you've seen/read/watched, everybody is! And sure, you might even drop in some references if they're thematically appropriate and you think somebody might appreciate them. But at its core, it should be a story you care about, that you want to tell because nobody else tells it the way you want it to be told.
