    Opioid interactions - I think it should say effects reduced by INDUCERS, not inhibitors (correct me if I am wrong)

    You are absolutely correct Vijay . Correction. Was meant to say INDUCERS on the slides e.g rifampicin. This was corrected on the course. But thanks for highlighting

    Actually the video is correct. This is due to most opiates being pro-drugs. An increase in metabolism due to a CYP inducer would mean an increase in the active metabolite (morphine) thus leading to a greater therapeutic effect. So Vijay is absolutely incorrect 🤯
