The rear wheel looks oddly placed too far! Where is the storage?

It doesnt appear to have any internal item storage capacity. One assumes there are additional cost storage add-ons such as panniers?

I wish I could get an electric bicycle or bike conversion upgrade. Some of them are beasts.
