@@SonicMaster519 Again, YOMI hustle is only a platform fighter in some aspects (DI being a major example) but it is primarily based on more traditional fighting games along the lines of Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, King of Fighters, etc. These tend to be ridiculously fast paced requiring huge time investments to learn how to do the simplest combos. Smash is a party game with competitive elements.

To have fun. People get way too caught up in doing shit competitively these days. Everything gets worse once you take it seriously. My primary example is usually Yugioh. I think about sitting down as a kid in elementary/middle school and having a duel with my friends, using whatever cards we had. Strategizing and spending like an hour on a deep back and forth. Now tell me how that's worse than the state it's in today where it's arguably more fair and competitive.

@@Saplingbat when you play for long enough, you naturally improve. If you've played for long enough, being good IS fun or it's not done intentionally, and that's what people don't understand. It's when being good is no longer fun that it is the fault of the game. Don't blame the player for flaws in the game when the players are passionate enough to learn everything there is about it. There are a lot of people who never get to that point, but it's those people who find ways to fix those flaws to push the game forward into more than it originally was meant to be. It doesn't always happen, but more often than not it is not the player's fault for improving at their favourite game, because naturally, if you like something you learn more about it. Tl;Dr: blaming people for being good at the game is the same as blaming them for having fun. If you like something you learn more about it.

I not played an online game yet, I've just done solo games to make cool videos. I once managed to do 89 combo with a wizard, though I didn't make the other player choose the direction. But still, was pretty good. I'm just afraid of getting destroyed if I go online

  • @ChimeraGames

You definitely won’t if you pick the right lobbies. Since the game is gaining traction, there are a lot of people who are new in online mode right now. Everyone who is brand new is saying they’re brand new. It may not seem like it when you start playing them, but that’s just the flashiness of the game tricking you. All in all, the online scene for this game is really welcoming compared to other fighting games at time of writing this. Give it a shot if you wanna!

It's really good and pretty cheap I'd recommend it. This is just the replay of the fight, when actually playing it is a turn based game but still very similar to other fighters.

i mean, people do this in real time fighting games too. but since this is turn based(like toribash) it's going to have a long wait time until each connect because everyone would want to use the frame advantage because there's almost 0 chance of losing WITH the frame advantage.
