Tabata Style Heavy Bag Workout - This is TOUGH | Tabata Workout | Boxing Workout
Tabata formulas make almost any exercise routine challenging. When working short explosive boxing heavy bag sets with minimal rest, your system has limited time to recover. Still, mentally you need to push through to finish every 20 Second maximum effort set.
In this Intense Heavy Bag Workout:
You'll throw 4 boxing combinations x 20 seconds per set
Rest 10 seconds between sets
Do each boxing combination x 2 for a total of 8 x 20 seconds sets
Work at 100 percent effort for every set!
If you want or need more, you can do this Intense Heavy Bag Workout for 2 or 3 complete rotations with 1:00 rest between rotations.

Tabata is a type of HIIT workout that aims to yield the most benefits in a short amount of time. For each exercise, you do eight rounds of 20 seconds of strenuous exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest.
Tabata is a type of HIIT workout that's just four minutes long. In Tabata, you cycle through eight rounds of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. All-out effort spikes your heart rate and burns major calories in just a short amount of time.
HIIT, Tabata, AMRAP, and EMOM are some of the most popular workout routines and protocols being used today, and they can all easily be applied to your boxing training. All are high-intensity, some are friendly competitions, and none is wrong when picking a routine to burn calories and get you lean and toned. Tabata is a high-intensity interval training, better known as HIIT in the let's-get-sweaty community.

The Heavy bag workout will build as many muscles as possible, making it an excellent exercise for building strength and enhancing power. The muscles in the arms, shoulders, chest, back, legs, and core are all engaged during a heavy bag training session, making it an effective Full Body workout.
To make sure that your heavy bag is the right size for your needs and provides enough resistance for proper training, take your personal body weight and divide it by two. For example, if you weight 160 lb, your heavy bag should weigh roughly 80 lb.
When training with a punching bag, the combination of High Intensity movement and rest is the same. This training method that's so fashionable right now is the most effective way of burning fat and losing weight.
