High-Intensity SEAL Training from SEALFIT Founder Mark Divine
Watch this video and get familiar with the form of the strict dead hang pull-up, the Navy SEAL push-up, and the air squat. The form is important to get right before you launch into the workout at a high intensity. Seek accurate performance of the form first, then consistent accuracy, and then intensity. The workout is to do as many rounds as possible (AMRAP) in 20 minutes of:
5x Pull-up
10x Push-up
15x Air Squat
Beginners should target 10 rounds, intermediate athletes 15, and advanced athletes 20+ rounds. Good luck - train hard and have fun. Hooyah!

Better right that down
I just did this. 10 rounds. Killed me.
Just tried it!! Must say that even in a air-conditioned/fanned room I still had a great sweat.
My coach from the 80s had us do this, plus burpees and mostly bodyweight training. Most of these moves are CrossFit.
This workout is one I usually do on a weekly basis on an active rest day. I also throw on a 20 lbs vest to amp it up a bit at times.

1:23 lat pull downs help until you can finally do a pull up, and a fasting diet. 3:23 I like how you break parallel, I’ve been doing air squats for like 10 years now, but I’ve never really thought about breaking parallel, unless I really wanted to go as low as I can go, and I’ve done that before like a dozen times. 5:00 so, I’ve also been doing this exercise for about 10 years now I learned it from some seal video, however, he added sit ups. I gave it the notorious name the fantastic four. I noticed someone came out with a simple six I thought that was funny.
Yea, implementing this workout this day forth! 'Preciate it, SEALS! Kia Ora from NZ

cuantas veces a la semana?
HEY MARK CAN'T REMEMBER HOW TO DO THE SIT UP WHERE YOU PUT A 45LBS WEIGHT ON YOUR LEGS THEN KICK IT OUT WITH YOUR LEGS THEN BRING IT BACK
Will barrel huggers with a 45 plate be ok instead of pull ups?
How tall exactly is Mark? He really seems like atleast 6' 2
Hi Mr. Divine, Thanks for your video! I have a set of questions, if you have the time: 1) Why the squat, as opposed to the curl-up, which is on the PST? 2) In my training I was told *never* to break the parallel plane while squatting -- why do you suggest it? Is it just because he's not using weights? 3) Do you know if the overhand pull-up is the only acceptable grip on the PST, or would neutral/underhand be acceptable? Thanks!

There's another seal video they do 10 reps of pullups or rope climbs , 50 air squats, 30 pushups x 5 sets.

That’s about what I do, but I’m at 12 reps for the pull-ups ( I gradually increase the reps by 2)and I do it for 30 minutes. I only last 20 yesterday. I also add 30 sit ups/ or whatever flutter kicks, anything
I am a fit 60 year old man.Would 10 Minutes be enough?
Seems easy, right?
I was never able to squat like that in my life. There's got to be something wrong with my hips
doing 20 rounds is the rep portion of the murph

Strict CINDY not SEALFIT
Two words ...david goggins
His pushup is off form. Back bends too much and did not form a straight line.
Pffttt... this aint SEAL training. Its a fitness program tjat is administered by a SEAL.

"If you don't have a pullup, you can do a kettlebell rowing" Lol you geek, that's a shrug. Not a row, and you can't substitute pullups buddy. "Touch the deck" gotta use the lingo to keep fakin' knawwwwwledge right? (Tai Lopez garage reference)

That trainee was honestly garbage, horrible push-up form, way too fast on the reps, and just look like he was about to snap his freaking joints.

How was I garbage?
@michelbergerribeiro1566
2 жыл бұрын
@@aneecha66 Not garbage at all, far from it. But I do think the form could be better. On the pull-ups, maybe a slower pace and more focus on contraction of the core and scapula retraction at the start of the movement. On the push-ups, really engaging your core should help eliminate the anterior pelvic tilt, which is quite prominent in this video. Hope this helps.
