I think gondola + chairlift to meadowa ticket in summer is about $50

Yes you can, and it is awesome experience if you go to Sunshine Meadows at the top. It was $59 CAD

No, if you buy lift ticket - it includes gondola and chairlift

Yes, I like both. Sunshine gondola is longer and has different views. If you are more into nature and hiking - Sunshine is better choice if you go hiking Meadows trail Chairlift and Meadows viewing platform - kzread.info/dash/bejne/dotssK6MisTXeaw.html Meadows Hiking trail - kzread.info/dash/bejne/hHd826RtaLjeido.html Banff gondola is short - but on the top you will find very nice board walk and beautiful view of Banff and area. @@user-hp9mu7yo9p There is a shuttle as well - but not sure if they take people who do not stay in lodge. I think they probably do. Some people hike - but it's a walk for few km.

Yes, most people are taking gondola - it is much faster and very beautiful ride.
