Major cost of living is due to the house rent that we pay and if accommodation is already provided it's pretty high pay! Also, petrol prices are very cheap if you have your own vehicle you can easily commute to any place. For that matter even public transport is very cheap. Of course if you are earning in dirhams your expenditures will also be in same currency..one cannot compare with INR.

Dear Megha It depends on Emirates. Sharjah is comparatively a lot cheaper than Dubai. GEMS tends to pay less to the teachers that are freshers in UAE.

Hi Priya, apply anywhere you see the vacancy and choose only once you have the job. Masters get an extra 500 Aed allowance or more in some schools.

Hi Shab Can’t say anything in terms of school going online as it depends on number of cases due to the recent mutation. What I can assure here is UAE will not let anything like that happen that easily due to their preparedness to deal with the situation. Now talking about you coming here and applying, I always recommend applying online if you are targeting good schools.

You may come if there are any walk in interviews but if you have already applied and have a scheduled interview then it should be arranged online unless asked otherwise by the school.

Hi Hemraj, since you have completed your graduation, we would suggest you to make right choices towards your future. Do an international teaching qualification if your pocket allows you while working in India because getting a job anywhere without a teaching qualification would be nearly impossible. Look for UK iPGCE courses.

Apply as a PE teacher and offer coaching in the after school hours which can be a great strength for you! Broadly for CBSE schools 3 to 6000 Aed, For British schools - 6000 to 10000 Aed and for IB - 7000 to 14000 Aed. Plus the housing, return airfare and medical insurance benefits!
