You should never be embarrassed to buy items in bulk at Dollar Tree. First of all you have an extremely successful channel to run and second, there are no rules on how many you can buy at once. Big fan of your channel.

Don't feel guilty about buying large amounts. If it's there buy it. That's why it's there. Love the farmhouse things you do.

Definitely know how you feel about buying more than others think you should. But there is no RULES on craft supplies you got to get it while you can.... 😃 Love the blessing sign just so simple and pleasing!

Katelyn, these are PERFECT for the kitchen using fresh herbs. You could even write on the little chalk board the name of the herb that's in the container. Now, I really love these. And the paint makes those tubes look just like galvanised containers. Also in regards to cutting those small thin sticks, I've always cut mine with my Dremel. It has a small blade that goes on it and its perfect for small project such as this. Once you have one, you'll find SO MANY uses for it. And there rather cheap. Also Lowe's has a small miter box for around $10 and it allows you to make so many different angle cuts, and it comes with a small wood saw as well. But as many crafts as you do I feel that a dremel would be awesome for you. The dremel has 100's of blades. I've been out of work sick for 6 months now. Seems like all I've done is set around and watch DIY projects. Yours by far seem to be so much better than some others on here! Keep up the GREAT work! Thanks so much. Scott, from North Carolina.

The galvanized look planters in the tray are darling. If there are five of something I want to craft with. I’ll take two or three of the item. The windmills are adorable! They just may be my favorite craft that you’ve made. SOOOO high end. The round lambs ear wreath is adorable. Sometimes less is more. Good job on the all the DIY’s.

I dont feel bad when i buy a quantity of anything for crafting, especially from $ Tree because you never know if you'll ever see those items again. Besides i went to look on & tree app & they didn't have really anything. So don't let noone make you feel bad about what your buying or how much. Some people should mind their business. God don't like ugly! Anyways, I'm loving all your crafts. You are so talented Katelyn. I have so many crafting supplies, a crafters paradise, & I keep buying more but I never use them. I typically use a miter saw and miter box for cutting small pieces of wood. And I never feel bad buying craft supplies in bulk 😉

Today I made the windmill wall board, and mini crate idea using some leftover barn wood that I stained and glued together to make a 9 x 18 inch board, the windmill, basket, coffee stained fabric (to line the wood crate), and greenery. Cute diys! I remember you opening all of those words. You are loved. Don't worry about getting all those little crates. With not getting out often you need to get what you can when you are out. May not be there next time. Something I'd like to see you diy with is the little succulents that are so popular right now. I have been finding them every time I am out. To cut my small wood projects, I use a small handsaw from Dollar Tree I found in the hardware section. Your diy's are beautiful and so budget friendly. Your windmill project is my favorite from this video. I found those little crates as well and was excited to see what you would do with them. I don't feel bad about purchasing numerous like items...if they have what I need, I buy it. 😊💕

I do the same. I buy in bulk on something's especially if I haven't seen it before because I have 10 rolls of the black and white flower contact paper from DT because I love how it looks. It's my theme in my room. But I usually just put it all together because if they don't want me to buy it it shouldn't be available. If I find a case of something I want on the floor I'll buy it. Girl it's our money and their business flourishes off us. So NEVER be embarrassed for buying multiple items. If the lady wanted that item she would have bought it. People are just judgemental. Keep crafting and never stop because I absolutely love you're videos and you're absolutely gorgeous as well. Keep your head up and stand tall when buying in bulk. Your money and business!! There is always a negative Nancy somewhere.

I never feel guilty about purchasing ALL of any item. My money is as good as anyone else's!!! I have actually made the little boxes with tongue depressors on several ocassions. I love painting ship lap signs etc....that and galvanized have almost become a passion for me!!! I just love your ideas and your diys....you do a great tutorial!!!!!

You are so good at what you do. These are all just gorgeous. I love them. Haven’t been to Dollar tree in a couple of weeks until TODAY. I make some clothespin wreaths and I got all they had out. I know one woman looked at me like, “what was I doing?”It wasn’t like I could hang clothes out to dry cause it’s been raining all week. Lol. But yes, I’ve had the look before. I'm a crafter and I also WORK at a DT.. and I can tell you, we have people AND employees (like me) who buy ALL of one item, not even just crafters.. and they don't try to hide it or seem to feel that bad, and NO ONE MINDS! Yes, if you're DT is low or out of something, or you see something coming out (on your DTs page) soon that you want a lot of, you should order online. BUT - our items are there for you to buy, so if you need a lot of one item, don't feel bad.. just do it ;) I once saw a customer buy all we had of a craft item I wanted, and all I said was, oh shoot - you beat me to it ;) LOL.

The blessing sign turned out nice!

Use the dollar tree saw for thin wood like those paint sticks or dowel rods etc. I used to score it with a utility knife too but it was so much more work lol. Just saw with the little saw and sand the edge real quick!

An oscillating multi-tool would be a great addition to your crafting tools. You can get different attachments so you can cut, sand, and all kinds of stuff. Dremel is a brand name but harbor freight has great inexpensive options.

I did like all 3 but did like the blessings sign. You are an adorable

I love all of these diys. I've got a lot of the supplies ,so maybe I'll try making them too. I don't feel bad buying things at DT that I've never seen before... Because I may never see them again. I rarely see things that other crafter's use in the DT here. However, I do make sure I leave some for others to buy. I once thought someone was stocking the shelves because she had so many of the same item.. her cart was full. Then I saw her in line at the checkout... Anyway, I hope you're having a beautiful day. Hoarding toilet paper is one thing... IMHO you shouldn't feel bad about buying the number that you did; after all, you will use them all. Eventually. LOL All 3 of these are fantastic! My fave has to be the Blessings sign. Looks so cute hanging from the coat hook. Enjoyed your video!

Buy the items at your local Dollar Tree when you can. That way they will keep your store stacked up with the items you like. If you keep buying them online then your local store doesn’t get stocked up with those items. Corporate Dollar Tree orders differently for all their locations & is run differently from their website.

When I have bought a lot of one item I have had the checkers ask if I have a lot of projects to do. I say yup I have a YT channel. I love 💕 all your projects. They are wonderful. If I found the little crates I would grab quite a few. Lol I resemble that remark that you have paint on everything.

These are beautiful! I bought a case of the crates only because I couldn't find them in my stores. I'd love to see what else you could come up with using the crates, I love those 😂. I would have bought as many as I could as well, if you don't someone else will. Yes, I'll buy as many as I can and I don't feel bad, I'm usually too excited that I found something I've been looking for. I think the Blessing sign would look good between the two pieces with the crates, maybe? I love that sign, I'm going to make one, it's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. 💟

I love your windmills. Isn't it nice when others tell you where to spend your money. Not !! Why can't they just mind their own business. I don't think I'd ever be embarrassed about how many of an item I'm buying. It's totally my decision. To cut multiple pieces I tape them together and use my mixer box with a hack saw. I just saw another crafter yesterday her gilotine paper trimmer to cut thin wood stripes. I thought that was ingenious. Saver her a lot of time. You'd just have to make certain that all of your pieces are properly measured and cut straight. I don't have one of these, but have wanted to get a smallish one for sometime now.

i have about a dozen of those plastic containers which i used in my craft room till we moved. this gives me an idea of what i can do with some of them.

I love all of the projects. Can't choose a favorite. I wish that we could post a pic in the comments here. If you want more dimension on your windmills, here's what I did. I bent the edges up a bit on my windmill blades. Only bend up one side and bend the same side on all the blades. I used the windmill as the O in HOME on a sign. Bending the blades makes it pop.

I use a very watered down paint mix to "stain" my wood. I also use other colors too - apply brown, let dry. Blend in a sparse layer of barn red here and there, let dry dry. Same for black and turquoise. Sometimes green. You can still see the wood grain thru the paint but it has to be watered down like a tint.

Do I hear you!! I’m an Organ Transplant Recipient & I’m in the same boat. What makes it worse, is I’m in a very Rural Area & the nearest DT is 3 hrs from me, so I only get there once in awhile to begin w/, but now? As much as I enjoy watching what everyone’s doing & the respective Hauls, at the same time...Sigh. Stay safe Everyone!!

Fun Fact: you can use the base/frame from wooden puzzles for toddlers (since they are bound to loose a piece or 2.) You can make an *adorable* tea tray. I made one for our wedding, I added handles & little feet, stained it... I was so surprised at how nice it turned out.
