Girl here it is 3, nearly 4, years later n I still absolutely LOVE each one of these DIY’s‼️😊 I made the farmhouse lights n still have them. I love being able to go back n see the DIY’s I fell in love with when I started watching KZread DIY videos❣️ I’m hoping my Dollar Tree gets some of those plastic gardening dishes in so I can make the two tiered piece at the end. I stained my wood piece with Walnut & spray painted bowl black & then I found a 5pack of puck lights at Walmart for $14.88 & it came with all the batteries needed, you can change the color of the lights, you can have them rotate colors, they can flash, &, wait for it.....it comes with a REMOTE CONTROL!!!! 😉💜 I have mine above my night stands & it was so worth the $14.88 just for the remote!!! 😊 Thank you so very much! My absolute favorite hands down!!! 😙💜👍👍👏👏

The light fixtures were EXTREMELY CREATIVE, but I loved how all of them turned out. I wish my brain worked that way because that is totally not what I see in my mind when I look at a plant plate from the dollar tree! 😄

Oh how I wish I would have bought some of those garden bowls, now that I've seen this video. I didn't know how to use them except for the succulents, and yours is so pretty. These are all absolutely beautiful Katelyn, I love the lamps, the two tier centerpiece, just all of them. You are so very creative, and you never have to be nervous about distressing your pieces, you do it perfectly. Great video, I'm so happy you mentioned the cotton can be used all year, because I didn't know and I bought a box of Dollar Trees cotton stems, they are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing, great job. Yeah that's another problem I have. I watch a lot of DIY videos especially Dollar Tree videos and by the time I see them making whatever I go to the Dollar Tree and they no longer have the items in stock. And in order for me to get it I need to buy it online in bulk which is way too costly for me.

I liked that all of these crafts were unique. My “favorite” is a tie between the wall lights and the fountain centerpiece. I don’t have a place for the lights, but I’m going to try to find the pieces to make the centerpiece. I may leave it in fountain mode because it reminds me of Italy. Thank you Katelyn for your original ideas! ❤️

OMGOSH!!! You can make anything out of anything... You are so gifted GIRL!! ❤️ ❤️❤️!! I LOVED them all but my favorite hands down was the 2 tiered tray with the candle on top!! I love the lace around the edge of the pots - it adds some texture and looks like it was carved into the stone.

The planter plates are adorable. Simple but high end. The succulent dish is really nice. It looks so realistic.

I love this. My favorite is the last one. I was using the glass candle stick holders and a charger, a ceramic plate and either a small bowl, plate or glass heart/star shaped in the floral section near rocks and marbles. I used this to make a tierd kind of tray to have vertical storage on my vanity

I loved the last project. I would love to try it with a nautical theme. I could trim the dishes with rope, put shells in the dishes, and a goldfish in the vase at the top. Thanks for the wonderful ideas.

Really Smart idea using those plastic bowls as lights. They look really Good

I've loved everything done here.. super cute and very imaginative. I'm going to make those wall Lam's for the interior of my she shed! My only suggestions would be - 1; when dry brushing on accent tones to give the piece more depth, work in sections and swipe the dry brush on where I want that depth, and then immediately softly rub it in with a clean and dry flour sack towel. I move the towel in the same directions in which I've dry brushed, and I don't scrub, but rather softly work it in just a touch to remove so many of those dry brush lines. The finish ends up looking more natural, and it works to actually add depth to the color beneath it as well. I also use two colors - one two shades darker than the base, and one two shades lighter than the base. I dry brush and soft cloth in the dark tone first, and then very sparingly add the lighter tone strategically just 1/4 or so from some of the edges and then a few spots on the rest of the piece - again, soft clothing it in. The three tones give the piece more depth and visual texture... The darker tone acting as an antiqing element, and the lighter tone adds a touch of what almost appears to be light reflection. 2; -- and this is certainly more of a personal taste -- but I'll use a satin glaze aplied very sparingly all over the piece. It brings out and deepens the cord of your paint, reflects a little light to make it "pop", acts as a dealer to protect your work, and again - adds visual texture. Satin finishes or light glazes are wonderful because they do add all of that deepening tone and texture, but doing it without that glossy finish. Rustleum has several wonderful glazes in beautiful colors - that will also add depth, but aren't glossy. I love the matte look as well, but the very lightly applied glaze with a soft cloth takes away from everything looking so dry. Clear finishing wax, such as Annie Sloans or Amy Howards also work wonderfully. I'll go over the entire piece using the clear wax and really rubbing it in... Then sometimes apt the dark wax sparingly where there is trim which has lovely little crevices in it for that dark wax to settle into - giving that trim a very detailed and beautifully aged appearance. Now, I need to head to the dollar store for a few of those bowls! Too cute!
