I love these dollar tree crafts! Because even though they are "farmhouse" they work well with my boho style as well.

I love the aging of the cake pan. I think I would add one extra step of spraying on a clear matte sealer to keep the rust from transferring to your hands or items placed on it

The way I’ve trained myself to think beyond is by working backwards. I think if what I want my end result to be and then look around to find cheap ways to recreate. Eventually you can work ur brain to look at stuff and think of ideas from looking

I love the farmhouse one but I haven’t even seen the others I just love it already

I love the sign made from the wooden crates and the three candy dishes with succulents.

funniest thing I have the same xmas serving tray that we forgot to put in the xmas tote that is already packed away so now I'm going to paint it and use it as decor on my coffee table thank you for the idea fantastic!!!!

I love the antiqued cake pan & believe me, The Works bathroom cleaner is really THAT strong. But it also dissolves built up soap scum, hard water mineral deposits, rust stains and it unclogs pipes! I love it!

I liked the boxes craft the best. TFS Happy Valentines Day...

I love the double wreaths but my favorite is probably the cake pan turned into aged metal pedestal.

I liked everything, but the wreaths were my favorite.

TIP!!!! So I went to my local dollar tree this evening to purchase some of these DIY projects to do while I am on break from school - and in trying to use my very sharp, brandnew Farberware scissors, I, too, attempted to cut the extremely hard black plastic with the essentials rag mop heads ...however, in waiting for my husband to return from the garage with the wire cutters, like you used, Liz, I pulled the cotton strands - EASY PEASY!!! MUCH LESS STRAIN ON YOUR HANDS, AND THOUGH IT TOOK A FEW EXTRA SECONDS, IT WAS NOT DIFFICULT. Thought you would want to know this, in case you didn't already!

I like what the toilet bowl cleaner did to that cake pan. I think I'd add rope handles to it instead of the stand and use it as a decorative tray!

I was a little confused as to why you specified a blue glass but then you painted it. But it also made me laugh that you antiqued the pie plate that way. I could have just given you one of my pie pans that have natural antiquing acquired over time. But that is just how an old person thinks! I love the wreaths.

I did not like that project and wouldn’t want to precariously balance things on a rusted old pan with a glass bottom...sorry Liz, it is not practical nor cost effective of buying a brand new cake pan and toilet bowl cleaner to get that result?! Plus my cats would knock that down and kapow smasharoo!

I think those “blue glasses” are Dollar Tree glasses! I’m sure it was just the style of glass that she wanted rather than the color!

OMG! That Tray is Adorbs

Talked to a friend and told her about your channel. She asked me about R.V spacing knowing I use to live in an R.V. I looked at your other page on small space living and tried to use your ideas for both of our small space situations.

Its funny to me seeing wall signs that say "farmhouse" in a 2 bedroom apartment or a house less than 5 years old. I cant 🤣 i love farmhouses...absolutely my favorite. But not the quotes...lol

A farmhouse is the house on the farm where people (the farmers) live. A barn is used for the animals.

MaMa Troll she said use the mop heads instead of the nautical rope (because those come in smaller quantities and the project in question needed lots of it and the nautical rope could get expensive)

A first timer,I must say I am floored. I have not been to the DT for since before the beginning of the 'apartness'. I used to find such things for art with my preschoolers.

You may want to try to print (using an inkjet printer) your words/pictures on Wax paper then rub it n on to your crate . Works great! Love your Diy's.

I only just discovered your channel and I'm obsessed! So, when you were first doing the mophead tray, I wasn't feeling it, but by the time you were finished, all I can say it amazing!! It came out beatiful!

OMG! Girl, you just saved my life! I accidentally printed $25 worth of phrases and images to decopauge that the UPS Store printed for me and FORGOT to turn everything backwards in order to transfer it. I have those wood planks that you glued your sign to, so now I have a way to use those print outs! Thank you so, so, so much♥️♥️♥️
