I just bought a small jorse second hand that I decided would make a nice rocking hotse... Or maybe a carosel horse. It's legs move, but it's not the same horse you've used. Rhing is, I told my sister about your channel, and she told me about the rocking horse upcycle. And I had even watched part of this video months ago, but hadn't gotten past the cars... And now I see you have all kinds of interesting videos I need to watch. And you've inspired me to look more into old antique dolls. Good lird woman! Wish we were neighbors! 😘💞💖

No Dollar Tree does. I've been going to Dollar Tree since they first opened in the 80s and worked for them for 5 years. They never have. The horse and cars are from Dollar General.

Just a suggestion…if you use a lighter primer for lighter finish colors you will get much better coverage with less coats of paint….I love your skills and creativity..everything looks store bought which is the goal when revamping a cheap looking item so very nice…thanks for sharing

Dear Irene, I love how you blend the brown paint into the red. Do you use a different paint brush to do the blending, or do you just use the brushes you're already using? I was wondering if you could make a video tutorial about how to do your blending technique so we can see it closely. Thank you so much for all your brilliant videos. I've written down all your recipes for texture paste, chalk paint, contour paint and fabric stiffener and they will be a great help. I bought the Kaolin clay powder this morning from my local pharmacy and it only cost $12.50 for 500gm. I was going to ask you where you buy your lovely paints - and it's great to know I can make them myself by following your recipe. 🤗 Love from Amanda in Australia

It's quite simple, you mix one part white clay (kaolin) with one part water, and then you add 3 parts of acrylic paint. And you've got homemade chalk paint. Though you can use readymade ones as well)

A lot of work for little results

Those are not Dollar Tree toys, maybe Dollar General or Walmart

I'm living outside US and our local Dollar tree had these toys (actually they still sell them). I think you may have similar ones)

You are a magician. This is the 3rd or 4th comment I'm leaving to say that I just can't understand your skills as a painter. I know the techniques you use, they're relatively common, but you have a skill that just doesn't make any sense. I've enjoyed a successful international career in the performing arts, and you make me feel grossly inadequate.
