In soaring chapter’s mission “shiftling’s wise judgement” you have to either side with Katsuie or Koroku, however at the beginning of the stage you can turn back and see Tokichiro, and behind him you can jump into a hole which led straight to the drained river, this effectively makes You pick the third option which will makes you fight both Yokai and Humans throughout the stages and it makes the stage boss a 3 way battle between you, Koroku and Katsuie

Thank you for telling us about this, this is awesome. In the same region, the mission where you gotta help Koroku track down the kappa that stole his sickle, you can actually kill the kappa before it escapes, allowing you to skip a huuuge chunk of the mission, I recommend using invisibility and Yokai Shift, to make it easier, or shoot him with a hand cannon. This will give you different dialogue at the end of the mission.

so you can choose yokai, humans, or everyone's getting slapped?

when you beat maeda toshiie in ruin draws near he'll say he'll do the honorable thing and take his own life , if you use the nicely done gesture you'll get different dialogue and he'll give you an item.

In main mission "The Village of Cursed Blossoms" near the second shrine you can talk to man one of the houses and get some dialogue. It's easy to miss him cause you see only a silhouet of him. But what makes it interesting if you go twilight version of the mission you can see him struggling against of yokai

In the main mission where the tea guy gets killed by hideyoshi , when you get into the mission, you can summon him as a revenant right next to his cage, you.can kill him and get his set

Have not seen this anywhere online, and I've only found one revenant at the beginning of that stage who seems to only drop ochoko cups. Is this a confirmed secret?

Jack Swift I did summoned him. And his grave marked as “ unnatural death” only after I defeated his ghost then I realized it was him lol

You can also farm him specifically as a boss, if you get all the tea fragments in his Nioh 1 throwback mission. After you beat him, you get his spider.

You can get this one dude hooked on dung balls! Then after you've given him a set amount he drops the coiled snake helmet!

U get a trophy for that on ps4

Koroku and Yasuke will comment if you use Hot springs while they're following you the comments will differ depends on your Character's gender

you can also get him to give you the comb if you are using the mumyo transformation and speak to him.

damnit i knew there had to be more to that guy just standing there, mad at myself for not trying all the emotes.

I do the first one without knowing it was a secret xD

i love these little easter eggs, hopefully there are a lot more still hidden in game!

in dlc the royal retainer mission when u reach end of it dont kill kappa attack the guy who was helping u and kill him he was bad guy

In the shadow region the mission 'bird in a cage' There is a dude who you can give dung balls too Keep talking to him even after giving him an item and give him all your dung balls he then will drop you two smithing texts

if you give him 30 you get a trophy and he will end up in the Interim, though outside by the water.

If you talk to the Grandpa in the Roaming Artisan with Toyo as your Skin character the Dialogue will be different

Try using Myumyo skin transformation to talk to the Sohaya NPC 😉

There is a mission where Mataza is blocking off a path. If you flex on him, he moves and starts talking smack, allowing you to skip a portion of the map.

Back in the days there were huge Books with Solutions and Backstories. I wish for Nioh 2 could exist one. There are SO MANY mechanics. Most of them you discover in your 2nd playthrough first....

Can you share how to find this triple talismans that add attack power even to your allies ? It's like the same symbol just Three times. I saw a player with me use it before we entered the depth and it made my attack buff br much stronger than regular. Please share if you know how to find or add this talisman/magic/ status enhance . It's like the same symbol just goes 3times in the status. And also on my screen it works while the player who came to help is the one who operated it. Thanks!!

I think that NPC graves should be displayed with another color.

I did the 1st one on new game plus but bum rushed the Ugume so hard it didn't have time to speak to me. Oops

if you drop a common item to purple kodoma like salt or elixir he will be mad and attack you.

I didn't even think to use an emote on him! How do people find these things

Well... I guess I thought that he wasn't hostile, so I wasn't supposed to attack ? I just used the gesture I had that semed appropriate to engage a conversation, like "Bow", until "Relax" worked.

Sometime when you use a right gesture...some character will respond with some dialogue...

If you defeat the boss Katsuie (when Oda's daughter kill her self) he drop a really cool move for hachettes, the spin move that the boss do. I really interest where/who gives the moves of all the bosses for all the weapons if you have info 😉 thanks

There are tons of blue NPC summons and red NPC revenants. I am wondering if there is a hidden trophy for beating them all.

Press square on hidden trophies to reveal what it is and find out

You can also take cheste with the enemy yokai and dont fight him use the right emote or the walls yokai 🤣

The 1st one was a secret? If you actually summon blues and explore the zone it's not hard to miss.
