This Whip is Hella Dope & should have been featured in Car Audio Magazine back in the day! It absolutely warms my 💙 to see those Punch Amps like that! Then to step it up with those 4 JL Audio subs is a gift for us all to see. The moving parts are just Showin Out, but I like it 👍🏾 Super clean install 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Bad Ass Dude! Class of 95! God I miss the 90s
That is one over the top install for the ride. Nothing like having pride in your ride and your work! Glad you got to keep it all these years. I still have my first as well... well at least the tore up headunit and front speakers. Rest all got stolen at a dealership of all places. They couldn't get the headunit out so they made sure to bash it in.

"How stealth do you want your system?" "Yes"
The 90s really had a thing for motorized stuff.. radio faces included... today you dont see that hardly at all.
@halifaxmax5039
7 жыл бұрын
The 90's had a big problem with THEFT. Any nice single DIN head unit would fit nearly any car with just an adapter kit for $8, so windows got smashed and dashes got yanked. Now days the "infotainment" system is so integrated that the entire console & mid dash are one unit, and important functions use the display - like climate control, tire sensors, back-up cameras, and traction control info. To put an aftermarket head unit in a modern car is a real commitment, and a serious expense to make some systems work together. Sorry to be long-winded. As far as motorized amp racks etc, you're right that they have moved out of style but I still love them.
@ShainAndrews

Halifax Max. Agreed. I had more shit ripped off in the 90's. Then came the wave of alarm systems... got to hear that crap going off all the time. Not sure it ever deterred a theif, but they sure liked to go off all the time.
Wow, that's an awesome stealth old school install! Thanks for sharing:)

In the middle of a 90s install.. not an easy task but i socred 3 brand new MMATS amps from the 90s.. one has T03's in it which will be on my mid range up front. Still trying to find a dual 4ohm 12" sub or a pair of 4ohm 10s that were decent SQ subs. Would love a single JL12" W6V1.

This brought back so many memories man!! The Clarion deck, and those punch amps with the JL subs that sounds so awesome! Are those W3's or W6's? Been a while since I have seen those so couldn't tell from just the front. I had four W6 12's in my old Toyota truck, full cut through with a shell and they got jacked a week after I finished the install. I was still in highschool and worked so hard and saved to buy it all myself and some fuck head decided they needed them more then I did. Mine wasn't motorized though like yours! That's way cool how u fit all that in there.
@PaulluapGadgets
5 жыл бұрын
Hey Thanks, The subs are 10W6s X 4 of them. Wanted to go to 12" but they wouldn't fit with my design. My install was mainly to hide it away from view, sort of anti theft haha. And also have a usable boot/ trunk space. It was a tight fit, had to move the back seats forward a 100mm. I still love that clarion head unit, thought about changing it a few years ago. The subs were reformed about 3 years ago, like new again. Still love the sound. Cheers. I really need to do a better video of it. :)
At what ohms are you running the subs 4 10jlw6 on two amp? Bridged?
@PaulluapGadgets
8 жыл бұрын
Hi The subs are wired at 3 ohms and the amp is bridged on both channels at 4 ohm. Amps not rated to go to 3 ohms but I new they would handle it. :-) Cheers
