@@jccraftmage2313 yup, u can run it with 1 MG and half ammo tho if you want with 4 medium lasers - but that's only if you don't wanna waste 1.5 tonnage

@@danielwaller2748 I don't think so, but I am not an expert here. The 3f can mount 8 jump jets while the spider 5v can mount 12. Skill it right, and you can fly for crazy distances at high speed.

Only Bara can pilot a stealth Locust for 591 damage in that first game. Most by his entire team, and second overall in that match. Great work in both matches!

I wonder if backstap LRM could be used to keep everyone in confusion, even if you're not doing much damage? Being randomly hit by missiles panics people

i was looking at locust artwork, i had a fun time with that mech before clantech dropped [i liked ambushing those slow assaults that would hide in the rear for the match to grind down a bit]; and google was spying on me and put this on my youtube feed.

Watching you play lights makes it look so much fun

The thing I like about Baradul's videos is that they seem less... curated than others I've seen. Many "THOUSAND DAMAGE I'M SO AWESOME" videos feature potato players who seem confused that people are shooting at them. This video was just good piloting (REALLY good piloting,) with an imperfect match presented, warts and all.

This mech is my true love. Mine is black and gray with 4xSmall Pulse and 2xMG. Although I've never had the guts to run it hot pink! Hot pink is GUTSY, man!! But if I have to play just one mech in MWO forever more, the Pirates Bane would be it.

I always like the PB but then I sipped the Flea juice and can't go back. The MASK juking is real. Also it's the cutest mech ever made. Just want to pinch it's little cheeks.

I saw one of these for the first time yesterday. (I have been away for over a year) They are freaking miniscule! I'm tempted to buy one.

if you drop the engine you lose a heat sink and it forces you to add a 1 ton heat sink

Hah, i playin on Mad Dog, like in vidio. 4xMPL and 4xLRM10 - dont perfect, but cool. I can lyrms enemy and hunt on light-medium mechs 👌 And its not me in vidio :)

Xl190 4x meds stealth, endo and 4x double sinks. Have to strip a bit of armor but mostly out of the head which you don't need since the hitbox is microscopic. Works very well on cold and temperate maps but needs breaks to drop stealth and shed heat on the really hot ones like caustic and terra.

If you are ok with less armor and heat management you can squeeze 2xMPL and 2xERSL onto it. Runs very hot, but I tried it a few times and had decent luck with it. Strongly prefer the 4xML though.

Perhaps pink isn't a good color for camouflage.

I LARP as this mech.

When the CDA fires all the lasers you can see the targeting data in the top-left corner flash hard red including structure damage to components that still have armor on them like the leg and one of the torsos.

Why didn't you notify your team when you see the enemy, along with strengths and positions? You're a scout. Team play is more important than individual damage scores.

All my mechs come in impossible pink, this is the way.

Too bad most stealth runners don't know how to turn off stealth when in a brawl and end up in heat trouble every match. At least here we see how it is used effectively.

Hey Baradul, i have LRM question....i have played around 5 years or so and cant understand why everyone talks so bad about LRMs...especially LRMs on an assault that has several missile hard points. with the state of the game now and the nascar and so many assaults get left behind, what is the problem with an assault the can actually engage targets and do some damage while trying to catch up to the team? if so many mechs are gonna run off into battle to die in 3 min matches, why not have weapon systems on a slow mech that can engage and weaken the enemy while trying to make it to the rest of team? Military in the real world have artillery pieces that move slow and have to be able to engage targets while moving. Why doesnt that same philosophy carry over into people mindsets in MWO? I do recognize that there are some people that play LRM by sitting in the back and not moving towards their team and launch missiles at 900m, they are giving the weapon system and assaults that carry LRMS bad names. What are your thoughts?

I don't think anyone has an issue with say a king crab carrying say 30 lrm tubes, its the lrm 80-100 that go sub 60kph that everyone hates for the following reasons: -LRM's often do super spread dmg on multiple mechs rather than focused torso dmg on a few mechs -A light or a medium with lrm 40-60 can do the same thing without wasting your team's tonnage -With a normal game having 2-4 assaults every assault should be on the front getting shot, that's its job, most lrm assaults won't take that role. -Getting shot with LRM's isn't fun and neither is being forced to stay in cover, people that don't play lrms generally don't like them. I'll readily admit I hate lrm boating, I won't help you if you're on my team and ill go out of my way to mess with you if I'm in a light or fast med. PTSD from years of watching lrm 90 stalkers shooting their missiles into a building and screaming about being left behind will do that to the player base. I'm sure after 5 years you knew that but maybe hearing it from another 1000 hours plus player helps.

The issue is that LRMs should not be an assault's primary weapons, a few LRMs to fire en route to the front is good. But assaults need to share armour with the team, not snipe in the back. Otherwise the front line will collapse. If the LRM player is sharing armour then I have no issue with it. But they cannot stand in the back to be easy pickings for lights.

Did you consider the "One Laser to rule them all" challenge? If not i repeat: One Laser, no other weapons. At least One KMDD. ;) have fun.

One of the best mechs in MWO EDIT: Not dropping armor for max speed? Thumbs down for misuse of the mech.
