That's amazing Robert, just a few days ago I was struggling with that issue as well, I used to carry separate selfie stick for the phone, but it was annoying not as much for extra 160 gr but for having another item, in my gear, that I had to carry somehow handy and be mindful of it. So based on nature hike carbon trekking pole, I constructed something just like this(no mike though), that weights together 240 gr, and I'm so satisfied, it's attached permanently, no need to screw it on and off but at the same time it folds the way I can still use it for setting up my trekking pole tents, wish to send you a photo but there is no option here I think...

Cascade also makes one of their carbon fiber cork handle trekking poles with a 1/4 thread mount on top. Personally I had mine come loose so a dab of super glue and it's been great ever since. IDK if it was just in there with pressure or if their glue broke free from the twisting and tightening of the camera mount. Either way after one quick fix with some super glue I've never had another issue. it comes in at roughly 9 oz. I carry it as a backup so that I still have a monopod or a trekking pole to use while my tent is pitched, or if I ever break a trekking pole I can sub in my mono pod trekking pole instead of lashing or taping a broken one.

with a taller handle it comes in a few inches longer than their standard trekking pole so if their trekking poles are only an inch or two too short for your pitch it's worth checking out!

Väldigt bra förslag… kanske dags att göra ett Svenskt avsnitt och varför inte om regler och vett & etikett på tur!

Personally I don't really care about the selfie attachment mularky, I'm way too ugly to want to film myself, ever. However, the long grips look very interesting, i was thinking about something just like this the other day when in the mountains and getting sick of my own poles placing too high going up hill. Didn't seem to be an issue last year but I guess I must be definitely suffering from that 1 year older, and probably an extra kilo!

😄 the selfie attachment/possibility maybe isn’t for everyone 😄 but yea, the longer handle is really great to have and something I also appreciate!
