I think the 3rd movie is going to do what No Way Home did. In the trailers and interviews: Jim is nowhere to be found. And then shows up in the 3rd movie

I watched the film in theaters, i can't believe Preston played in this film, it's honestly a perfect masterpiece, glad they stuck with the new design. I'm very happy they will have more than 3 sonic films.

I admired Jim Carrey as an actor for my entire life. I completely understand if he would want to retire. Still... if HE is not Robotnik in entire trilogy, I don't want anybody else to play that role....so I sincerely hope he would return for one last movie to finish what he started.

Im also hoping to see Metal Sonic and Little Planet in the sequel as well. I would feel a little more complete if they implemented Sonic CD storyline as well. Sonic universe doesnt feel complete without Sonic CD, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 and the Death Egg Saga (first 3 Sonic games) made into film. Those games and their storylines made up the bulk of the Sonic Universe.

You know... Gerald Robonik's research and Project Shadow, could inspire Eggman to create Metal Sonic in a 4th movie. And it would make sense since Gerald studied genetics in order to cure Maria and Eggman studied robotics out of his dislike of people.

When 5:40 just like in sonic lost world robotnik faked his death and he also did in sonic generations it wasn't really a death he was just going to be stuck in a white void but what I trying to say is that I think he'll fake his death for the 2nd time

in sonic 2 when knuckles restructures the master emerald you can see that he restructures it with the broken green fragments because the chaos emeralds were sent into space after sonic's detransformation, which means that the new master emerald does not contain the chaos emeralds, what gives meaning to the new plot

Metal Sonic... I want him to be in Movie Universe but not in S3, because of it being Shadow's spotlight. Maybe as cliffhanger of Amy being missing? (Shadow, Amy and Rouge in S3 Sega Please) and some foreshadowings like Eggman saying that he knows he will die soon (excuse for him not being in future movies) and that he leaves Ultimate Combat Robot For Mutant Hedgehog Killing Purposes to Stone.

Shadow could first of all attack Sonic because they are all fighting for the emerald

I only watched Sonic The Hedgehog 2 the other day, but since I watched the first movie in 2020, I didn't really understand what was going on aside from the parts related to the first one that reminded me of those related parts in the first movie. The second one was really good compared to the first, but for whatever reason I couldn't enjoy it properly.

Few holes: if Eggman died, he couldn't built Metal because he didn't do that in Death Egg Titan. If he built him, he's alive and probably found a way how to live until at least end of the Movie. And personally I think Metal doesn't have place in SA2 adaptation (which I hope S3 movie will be)

Also in one of the scenes the hologram of longclaw says, "If your watching this, then something has happened to me." But notice how she does not claim that she has died?
