The only thing you got wrong was the air intake. It's not the side cover that looks like an intake, that's a fake intake. It's still above the radiator, it's visible at mark 5:20

Indian did a great job on the Scout. I'm an HD guy (who also likes Indian), and I would buy the new Scout over the new Nightster. And probably over the the Sportster S too. I'm partial to HD on the bigger bikes, but Indian is winning the midsize segment in my opinion.

Not without significant work. An engineer said with some wiring work, the screen can be added. Cruise control is a tough one. ECM doesn’t know what cruise control is so would require some work there. Also, you’d have to mess with the hand control wiring to get the left side working. Otherwise, you’d have a touch screen only which is probably fine for most.

  • @BrandonBicasso

I think it depends on the rider's size/comfort on each one. They both are fast enough to get hurt. So, I would ask the person to ride both and pick the one they're most comfortable on. Then, if money isn't a problem, pick the one that has the character they like. Liquid/Air have different attitudes. Top end or Torque? I like my Chief for the torque and engine character. Plus, I've done a lot of work on it. But either bike is suited for various experience levels with power modes now.

  • @BrandonBicasso

@@RadioRahim01 We can agree to disagree. Chief/Fatboy/Low Rider are more beyond mid sized with their engine displacement and weight over 650 pounds. Softail Standard has a 3.5 gallon tank and starts at $15k. Chief has a 4 gallon tank and starts at $15k. Low Rider S has a 5 gallon tank and starts at $20k. Can do this all day. Nightster and Sportster S both have smaller gas tanks than Scout even if the amount is less than half a gallon. Companies go off the engine fueling, chassis and design requirements all while leaving enough out to warrant an upgrade. Some people wanted a 5 gallon tank on a Scout yet will complain how ridiculous a tank that size looks on a frame that small. If you want a bigger tank then Scout isn't the platform. Complaints about Chief's gas tank was a thing yet I got 230 miles out of it. Levels to it.
