Whst the heck did I just listened to on Hi93 (KQMQ)? As they aired their Top 4 at 4, they had some bad recording of a little girl randomly talking about coughing, making cookies, and a chicken without their head, as she was supposed to introduce the songs? And we never hear what the songs are. I’m missing something here.
Eventually we hear Crystal Akana with a feature, Momma Moments. OK? And later a random story that has nothing to do with being local.
We then fade into Big Koa on Island 98.5 (KDNN) where it's a bit smoother. But again, another same ol code-word contest.
I do enjoy the reggae sounds on both stations. Along with other radio stations in Hawaii that are ethnic/Hawaiian, it's great to drive around listening these station’s music.
