This makes me miss Sogang very much! Their jackets changed since I studied there. International students did not have Varsity jackets but just regular jackets. Wished I could order one for myself. :)

Watching these videos are pretty interesting to me. My boyfriend went to Sogang before we met so it's interesting for me to see a little of what he might have gone through. More videos please!

What are the measurements of the bed sheets? What did you bring or buy? Please help me out. I am going this summer and I don't know what the measurements are. They gave me 1100x2000mm but I don't think the converter is right. Also the varsity jacket, did you get it because you are on a sports team or can you buy them?

Did they give the jacket to you for free or did you have to buy it??

Hi! Late viewer... I'm really considering going to Sogang for summer but I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it and I have no idea if there's any way to get help with your tuition fees and stuff? Great video though, it made me 10x more excited 😁

Emma Campbell I believe they offer scholarships for room and board. It really depends on the program you enroll in. Some exchange programs help a lot with those fees just start applying for scholarships as soon as you can. I'm not sure if it's just because I live in Hawaii, but personally it was more affordable to go to school and live there than here. I've never eaten out so much. :)

Hi, just wanna ask if you recommend staying in the dorms. Especially if you like to stay out late or take travel trips out of Seoul. I heard there are curfews, so just wanna ask if they are strict with foreign students?

  • @IntroxVerse

Many would say the dorms are like a maximum security prison. Although it can seem like that at times, it is very clean, safe, and convenient especially for students. They may seem strict with the curfew but tbh International Students didn't really care about the curfew. I knew a bunch of people that would stay out a lot and they never got evicted. They Just got penalty points which didn't really matter. I remember we had this end of the year award ceremony where there were many candidates to be awarded for the most penalty points. LOL

LOL. Perks of being an international student I guess! Thanks for the quick response. This was a concern I had and am considering if I should forgo the dorms for and live off campus. But because Im heading to Sogang alone, it would be pretty difficult and expensive to find a suitable accommodation outside of Sogang. But I knew I wanna stay out late as well, so just wanted to see if there was any way around it!

+LivLuvLang Yes you could arrange stay outs on the Gonzaga website. Although I never did and I stayed out when I went clubbing or visiting family.

A S.B (not the uploader) I’m attending sogang’s klec program (KGP). I’m not sure if you’d be coming for that or as an exchange student taking other courses but the language classes themselves are fun! If you do the work and review a little each day you should be okay ^^ If you have other questions feel free to ask~

  • @IntroxVerse

Camila Lasserre I don’t think they would allow that. It was sorta strict in the sense that your room had to be kept to a certain standard. They would also have monthly checks to make sure the rooms were kept neat.

Camila Lasserre Good luck!! It’s much better than my friends rooms whom I visited there. Some were way smaller (they lived in goshiwons). But it’s okay cause I guarantee most of the time you’ll be out exploring, eating out, and having fun! :)
