I work with people like that who pick at you, HHH put it great needle push and push the gas to get a response then play like they didn't know what happened. Exactly what it is. Don't know if Pat plans on making a career of this thing like a lot of ex-football guys do and he easily could as i can see he is in fantastic shape and has a great personal image already molded. I can tell he is a fan so i deff believe this is his attempt to bring wrestling back to a more mainstream audience. Maybe he plans on being a part of that business or not but make no mistake, this is a work... admittedly a good work with two guys who have the talent, charisma and intelligence to make this thing work.

I have never loved HHH more than in that moment. I know everyone else really just tows the line and says, oh well Pat is the man. But as much as I love him, he was totally full of it and was the instigator in this incident. Sure, no reason to go batsh*t crazy like Cole did, but to be honest, I would have told Pat to go F himself and walked off. Assuming this was not staged, that is, because the whole thing seemed to be. Seriously, from the word go, Pat was egging Cole on, making passive-aggressive comments. I thought he was a total d*ck in this interview. You never know when you play with fire, what you're gonna get. As an aside, wtf with this stupid "he has colitis; you could have broken his spine. Or his neck. Or his head. Or..." Give me an F'in break. That was like the guy who immediately puts on the whiplash collar in a car dust up. Cole barely brushed the dude. If that broke you, you might need to be in assisted living, dude.

@Ziad Khaled Yep. He gave the cutter to Orton. Wanted him to jump as he did it too. To show off Orton's agility and make the finish look more impactful as it could be hit from any angle. Good wisdom passed down from HHH. It helped Orton get the move over more. That whole "Rko outta nowhere" was a thing long before it became an over pushed saying from Michael Cole in 2015. JR said it sparingly in 03 and 04 in some of his matches. For whatever reason, it took over a decade for it to be routinely spoken of and get pops from fans in that light.

bruh, they have real heat backstage... it wasn't a work this time. not every wrestler gets along with every wrestler. ego's do collide in the wrestling business just like in any athletic sport. idk if you actually follow this channel at all or not but he has plenty of other interviews that have went sour not just with wrestlers. yes, wwe is scripted and there is a lot of works that happen but not when it comes to him and adam cole especially on his own sporting podcast that deals in more sports than just wrestling. just thought i would fill you in on that because it seems you had no idea on their history or how real this beef actually is on the outside of the wwe.

I've never watched wrestling, I've only heard of HHH from kids I went to school with who did, but I have an ENORMOUS amount of respect for him after this interview. Handled this like a man. I really liked a lot of the things he said (I'm paraphrasing below): -"Yeah, he screwed up, but so did you" -"he apologized, which I didn't ask him to do" -"if I did fine him that'd be between me and him, our conversation is between us" -"I think it'd be nice if you apologized too, and you should do it in person" Classy as.

Adam Cole losses the nxt title then goes all the way down the card to feud with pat McAfee. Classic WWE booking.

Same. That's what makes it good. We know it's a work but I appreciate that they're still working it. Brings back the feeling of what made pro wrestling fun.

Same thing with the adam cole interview. From the onset it felt in character. When he had graves on a couple months ago, it was with whoever graves real name is. Completely out of kayfabe.

Cole apologizing on twitter seems like it's a terrible angle for a work and potential cameo from Pat on Nxt. Maybe Paul coming on to apologize again is to squash instant rumors/conspiracies. Hes incredibly smart and he knows the things he is saying live have repercussions

@@DuckFanDane are you kidding? Guy is right ^^^ no they were not... Pat mcafee was tryin to push his buttons, it was obvious.. It was civil for awhile and then got hostile, with each sides throwing blows... The difference was pat mcafee had four other dudes laughing at this guy and agreeing with pat even though pat was antagonizing him. Because they were in pats studio... Trip H was totally justified in his response.

HHH seems so chill and wise.

Totally agree, with HHH, about keeping the foot on the gas. The snarky Pittsburgh guy came out, however AC definitely showed he maybe incapable of taking criticism on how he came up. That Sean Michael's bit was a perfect example of your foot deep on the Gas pedal. Big fan either way. Yinz guys took it next level.
