We only gave it the same name and format so it would be easy for people to find. We thought we were being helpful, but I see now why it could be considered bad form. In our description we DO give ProtoOfSnagem credit for making his edit, a courtesy which he did not extend to us. I poured my heart and soul into singing this, arranging the music and doing most of the voices, so I don't think asking Proto for a NAME credit is asking too much. @@ParzivalTheThird this isnt stolen. this is actually slackcircus. the 2013 version with like 130m views is stolen. this was uploaded after the version in 240p on his website got allot of traction as well as the upload on his personal account got allot of views in like 2007-2009. so he made an official account and uploaded the HQ version.

heard this song for the first time two yeras ago. I was amazed by the charisma of the singer in the video. Now, two yeras later, I listen to it everytime I feel depressed, and it makes me happy. The only thing he did was cut the beginning and end of your video while being too lazy to even acknowledge credit. That only takes 2 minutes to do while you put in hours arranging the video. Nothing about this situation is the slightest fair and you deserve to take ownership of what you made even if it might disappoint people.

I found the legendary meme of the internet.

Mom played this over and over when I was 9 years old. It was the most beautiful sound I’d ever heard and I would ask her to play it again every time we were on the road. She passed away last year while I was living in Thailand and when I came back to pack her things and have her car detailed, this randomly came on through her CD player while I was in reminiscence of her. She was such a beautiful woman. Rest In Peace momma. Will see you again one day...

I really enjoy coming back to this once in a while, it's a great piece of work. The HQ audio really lets the bass and the wonderful little flourishes, background parts, and echo effects on the vocals all breathe a lot more. As I start messing around in a DAW finally I can really appreciate how well it all fits together to make a surprisingly intricate track. Clearly a lot of passion, effort, and no small amount of talent was put into composition, recording, and mastering.

I'm honestly amazed at how well this video holds up. Most pre-youtube viral videos can only be watched now with rose-tinted nostalgia glasses. But this video, the concept, the masterful singing, the FABULOUS editing, it all just holds up so well. Just appreciating a classic, great work!
