I was there. McCartney, Clapton, Knopfler, Sting, Elton John, Carl Perkins , Phil Collins - one night only. Ir cost me $850 US/ticket back in '97 but we flew to London for Hendrix's Brook St. Blue Plaque unveiling and I knew I'd never get chance to see something like this ever again. A magic night that I will never forget.

Paul’s wife was battling terminal cancer and no one knew it outside of his immediate family - she would pass less than 6 months later. He comes out there, with the greatest musicians in the world, gives them the gift of this amazing sing along, and then goes back with his family. Just - what an incredible human.

So many talented artists of my generation but McCartney was the Exclamation!!!!!!!Point!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤did you know that Paul wrote this song for John Lennon's son ❤

Oh it's not just you that gets Goosebumps I watched a concert on KZread with Paul singing Hey Jude 80,000 people sang along and I had tears in my eyes*Paul said in a interview that he wanted to take out the verse "the movement is on your shoulder" but John insisted he keeps it in Happy New Year 🥂

Damn! Paul McCartney, Sting, Elton John, Eric Clapton and Phil Collins all performing together. Just WOW!!!! Thanks for posting this.

When it was first released, I loved it and Revolution so much I listened to the radio wating for one of them to come on then when it finished, switched to another station [there were 4 or 5 playing pop music] and pretty soon one of them would come on again.
