I'm tired of hearing the squealing belts! Hang out while I figure out how to change the belts.

I like your humor throughout the videos! Gotta have some humor to keep the frustration of breakdowns and such manageable! That Bible brought back memories of my dads Bible that had water damage, he continues to use that Bible for years after it had water damage.

I had one grandfather who was a scoundrel , I didn't get to be around him much before he died. My other grandfather (PaPaw) to me was a great man. I remember all of the old codgers telling me things about about PaPaw and what a great person he was. Thanks for the verses.

Hi Sam, We have the same outlook on Mechanic duties . Lol I spent a half day a couples weeks ago on my Skidsteer. A .15 cent part caused me to take the track off and side panel to replace a O ring on a line going to the drive motor 🤦🏼‍♂️ . A lesson in every adventure 😁 I Appreciate the new channel ! Looking forward to videos on the retaining wall build. 👍🏻

Your going to make a Awesome mechanic. 👌 well Done Sammy. The only thing that I seen was that nut that was a 1/2" wrench that is impossible to get to is a jam nut that keeps the tensioner bolt from backing off. Just trying to help. Great video and message 👍 Have a Blessed day

Thanks Jon, I need all the help I can get... I was wondering what that nut was for. But I'm not sure how in the world a man would ever get a wrench to it to jam it down. But that is a good name for it. "Jam nut" because it jammed my patience for sure! I messed with that thing a long time before giving up. I just put a small segment of it on camera because yall would have been hollering, "leave that thing alone and get on with it." Guess a man will just have to keep an eye on it... God Bless, Sam

I have to wonder at times if it's a test from God to see if my patience are getting better or not. Hi. Thanks making this video because I am about to do mine. I do have a question. Under the top panel you took off is a motor called a swivel. It’s the part that has about 8 or 9 hoses going into it that transfers hydraulic pressure from the top side to the track frame. Mine went out and I replaced it by myself and it was not fun at all. About 4 days solid work. So my question is this, can you see if yours moves or flex’s as you turn the housing left to right? You’ll have to remove that top panel and have someone watch it. Mine flex’s more than it should and I’ve got no idea if it’s supposed to do that. Cat says it’s not supposed to but the panel it’s bolted to is actually a welded part of the bottom carriage frame. Which means there’s absolutely no way to correct this issue without a lot of work and money involved. If you dont have time that’s fine but the next time you’re working on it you might check that out. Keep up the good work my friend.

Thanks and I appreciate the heads up. I will look into that when I'm in there again. It was a learning curve to figure out those belts. Especially taking off that one panel for just one bolt. But, I did learn something and helped you out as well. Good luck with the belt change...

I generally tow it with a single axle dump truck. However, I do occasionally pull it with my Ram 5500 and a 10 ton gooseneck trailer. You could check the tow rating on your truck and get an idea if it can handle the weight. Sam
