The Children of the Hydras Teeth were featured in the Tim Burton directed music video Bones by The Killers. They look just as incredible in there as they do in the movie. They clearly had alot of impact on Burton.
Ray Harryhausen was a true lenged.

Scary fact: millions of years ago in the Carbinferuous period there were some pretty BIG arthropods that once roamed the earth but thankfully they are now extinct
Wow I used to watch Hewy back when I was in middle school when the show was airing, im 25 now and its cool to see hes still around
May the work of Ray Harryhausen continue to inspire many generations to come! The Rhedosaurus is one of my favorite creations by Ray Harryhausen and Ray Bradbury.

Was learning about Harryhausen through his scrapped concepts of War Of The Worlds. Would've loved to see his version of the novel rather than the George Pal version.

my favourite is the robot owl from clash of the titans but especially the puppets from his fairy tale shorts, those are beautiful works of art.

It is! He was also previously in Jason and the Argonauts as Phineas, the blind prophet constantly attacked by harpies. But if you think that's something, guess who that is at 22:14 .

@@Hewylewis I was aware that he was in ‘Jason and the Argonauts’, I just couldn’t remember if he did anymore Harryhausen stuff. Also, Tom Baker’s role in ‘The Golden Voyage of Sinbad’ was actually what got him the role as the 4th Doctor.
