Its because power rankings are inconsistent. Phoenix and runyu together could only seal quigong or whatever its name is but now runyu+quigong seems equal fo phoenix-half his power.

Tralalala Xu Feng and Runyu sealed Qiongqi because if they killed him, his toxic energy spilling from his death would completely ruin the demon realm and make it uninhabitable. So their only option was to seal him with the demon tool thingy. Which was why they went to the demon lord to ask for the tool. Otherwise they would have already killed him.

So sad, I can only imagine how sad she must've felt. She has always been such a happy and innocent person and she is the Floral Goddess now which is all about life and seeing so much death happening around her and knowing that she was used as an excuse to start such a pointless war must've really taken a toll on her.

After watching JinMi's taking that deadly hit, Phoenix's scream said it all...... He never expected this in his wildest nightmare..... Watching her to die in his arms which was the result of his own strick...... He never thought this can be there..... He lost his entire world...... Turned into a living dead.... YanYou at the last scene with those faded prowess balls, tear drop in his eyes Shouts thousands of words..... How pure a friendship can be he showed that..... A guy who always smiles,jokes around when he cries, that makes it sooo heartbreaking.... Yanyou & uncle Fox deserved a better ending scene than this one like the lead trio.....

I wonder why did I watch this scene many times even after I know that it will hurt me 😭😭😭

The only drama that made cry so plenty until i couldnt count how many times... it is so touching and i have no idea why i feel connected to the story somehow.. its so sad in a way that my heart actually breaks.. really love this drama.. for anyone whos about to watch this drama it is so beautiful but prepare for a roller coaster of emotions 😪❤😭

Same. Its just that Phoenix must know how much Jin Mi have done for him to be alive, how she suffers and repent, how that mistake made her selfless. Also Run Yu must know that Jin Mi just like her as a brother or a friend. I cried at this part but definitely i like seeing the two saw their beloved sacrifice herself to end their war.
