Absolute legend of a man, we love you here in Ireland too Stephen 👍💚💚🇮🇪👍

In my younger years, early 60s, we had radio only for a few years so kid radio programs were enthralling. Absolutley the best way to grow your own imagination. Now at 64 i find myself returning to descriptive audio option settings when streaming movies during sleep/rest. Mr. Frye is spectacular in so many ways, but his audio reads are superb! Well Done!

Mr. Fry is absolutely bonkers crazy and genius. I loved and read Roman & Greek mythology in college and adored the stories. Only Fry could stand the classics on its ear with unexpected humor. He is such a singular man while I couldn’t be noticed naked in the desert selling tacos. Genius helps

I love the way a narrator can bring a story to life. Stephen Fry does have a magical voice.

Stephen really takes you into the stories as though you can picture events, .. just like when I was a little kid at school and our teacher read us stuff like Robinson Crusoe and Black Beauty. Lovely to listen to snuggled up in a warm bed hugging a pillow for comfort 🙂

The breakfast scene is so funny and illustrative of our making the gods in our image. The Kardashians each have their own mansion, but the Greek gods bunk together on Olympus and share nectar jars.

Absolutely delightful, start to finish. Genius with plentiful humour and a true writer's brio bringing some rather tangled and obscure ancient myths to life.

I don't know how he does it but when he reads in Hera's voice, I hear Maggie Smith and see her acting the part in my mind

Oh Lord so could I.., listen to him reading the phone book, dictionary, encyclopedia. I just want to hear his voice. And from everything I've heard and read and seen, he is an amazing person.

When you boil it all down, there are only seven stories in all of literature, and the Greeks gave us all of them. Overcoming the Monster Rags to Riches The Quest Voyage and Return Rebirth Comedy Tragedy

Iv listened to these stories about 3 times not. They never get boring as Stephen reads them so well and bring the stores to life. 😃

I'm loving this, if I may be so presumptuous as to call you Stephen, once again you excel, thank you.

I loved Fry's version of Harry Potter, got it on Scamazon/Audible, the rest of the series are narrated by someone else and I didn't bother. Dudes voice is, to me, as iconic as Orson Welles, James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman.

My channel was partially inspired by this man’s work. Great stuff!

Poor Medusa, always a quest for the heroes to inflate their egoes..

I enjoy everything historic and mythical . Add the God's, Greece, and Stephen Fry. Well, it was just a sublime combination. Though it ended all to soon, only moments after it started. Or so it seemed. I have a question..... Was that the entire book? Or is the rest to be purchased?

I had only heard a part of the story of Perseus before.

What an excellent reading by Stephen Fry! And the sound is perfect too! What a delightful surprise. The vast majority of audiobooks do not come anywhere near these standards.

Stephen demonstrates that myth and religion stories can be very entertaining and could teach people a thing or two as well, but to live your life governed by fairy tales is just crazy.
