@@Olympushw Yes, you heal my battle weary soul. I have used some of your suggested combos and have done wonders. My Guild knows I like Zeus from Olympus - I just could not keep it to myself! Thank you so much Zeus! When I mention you, I get the love reaction.

Given the potency of Dante and Aurora; I think giving Lara Dodge could have the potential to put her in the category of OP heroes that after the two week intro period new players could not get and discourage new players with finding the game worth player without her.

It is just a marketing ploy. I have been missing out on Cleaver for over 2 years before I get him and I still have yet to level him. (In fact, I still have many many Hero yet to be levelled) Nexter can come up with a Lara sister hero (or a whole family of Croft) in the future and make it available to all. But in the years to come, we will be promoting Hero Wars using Lara in youtube, etc.

Don't worry about cleaver: useless hero in the high end of the game

I don't get why players are hating on this event. Basicly, getting Lara is for free like it has been with the introduction of all new heroes. The pre-order is just for those who don't want to spend time getting her to a higher color rank.

My sever is dying on alliance because it’s really only tree guild that are active and stay on top and in those three guild, each has a few that spends a lot of money. I’ve probably spent 3-4k in the couple of months and it’s really to compete with the top 20 players of the server. I got the resources but it really is unfair how expensive it is and how I can pay to win

I have already a good strategy for her defense. Aurora + Tristan in the front (Dodge + Armor penetration artifact), Isaac (Magic defense) and a "back-line-tank" like Martha, Fafnir or someone else, also Khorus as team pet against some control. Good idea, right?

@@Olympushw No it wasn't. Player expectation was to get out their wallets and pay a nice 300+ $ for a maxed Lara. How are there still people that think they are not being totally fucked by NEXTERS ?

The disappointment with what was revealed with the preorder was huge. The overall opinion from my guild is that most are disappointed in the preorder. Myself included, so I ordered nothing.

I think the analysis of lara croft is missing the fact that she is a hero designed to help new players catch up to maxxed accounts a bit faster. Her purpose is the extra expedition ability to get red artifacts.

I generally agree with what you say, but they cannot make her good for the sake of the metagame. The inability to get her after the event is over would otherwise create an unfair situation for players starting after the event. If Lara would be relevant in the metagame, new players would never be able to catch up. This would create a huge dent in motivation for all players joining after the event to keep on playing longterm, and would therefore be a problem for sustainabilty of the game. Thats why i think Nexters made her fun to use in the early game and in PVE mostly, a bit like Keira is for a new player. And thats the main idea behind her anyways - to get new players into the game.

Simple solution: Milk this event as much as possible while saying she won't be available later, then after enough miliking, make her available again. Oldest strategy to create a hype to make money and then make more money

If you get a significant amount of event coins for levelling Laura Croft to Red, then there is the possibility of easily getting soul stones for the new hero.

If you are talking about "improvement", I know you can add extra characters to the text for the "text-to-speech converter" so that words are pronounced correctly. For example, "present" sounded like a "gift", not a verb to "demonstrate". Not a big deal. I get it. You did mention improvement though. And I did say I love your thoughts! Onya Zeus!

She needs to have Physical and Magic Dodge at least for a limited skill activation uptime. It would definitely go more with her "dodgy" identity. Cant agree more with you on this one!

The addition of Lara was not supposed to be to see what she can add to the game, it was ONLY to see what she could add to the bottom line.

Time and time again, the game developers show just how out of touch they are with their customer base.

Just been watching Charlie. the biggest mistake going is the overhype ....again. It will be a Julius style event and her power is just as strong as Daredevil. Yeah, considering this is a major hype, it sure is a disappointment. 3d in, nobody bought it yet, but her skills isn'tt the best of

I agree with you but that comes with skill activation and lasts 9 seconds. It is not active all the time like other stats. Also once activated in battle can not be repeated

Lara counters are Jhu & Kayla put both of those in a team Lara is dead is sec's..

All these things are extremely stupid. They include one hero after another. There is no end to it. If they make some useless hero, it is a waste of time. If they make a hero who is a game changer, this is rude, because he will make some of our teams obsolete and we will have to raise this new hero from scratch. Or to pay like lunatics. I really don't know why they invent a hero a month. Soon we will have 200 heroes, maybe 50% of them would be totally useless, and it will be a must to have at least 30 of them to combine properly. At this moment, we have 62 heroes, and if you want to have the full potential of combining, you have to have 26 heroes to the maximum. It is almost 50%.

@@Olympushw I know that I was pretty conservative in my estimation. It is totally OK that every team has a counter team. But, this is ridiculous that every great team has a counterteam that can destroy it in 40 seconds. This is the problem in this game. For instance, I have Rufus, Dante, Celeste, Arachne, and Martha + Axel. I am totally paralyzed, I push Dante only, because I don't know what to do. Rufus can be out of the game if I decide to use Dante as a tank. Martha can be out of game, if I make a strong magic team, I don't need so much health, I have Axel. Celeste must give her place to Sebastian and instead of Arachne I can put many other heroes: Fafnir, Nebula, Solaris, Iris..., I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY THIS GAME.

Hahaha. Best joke of the year... "Game Offers should match player expectations and needs". You are talking about NEXTERS ffs.... Game Offers will match the strategy that makes Nexters the most money and nothing else. Wait until they get the idea to make titan artifacts be able to reach level 150 for no reason except people having to pay for upgrades...

And no VIP points with pre-order! Absolutely useless!

Good job I got my tanks all in place, but like, she is and will become a Ginger. She wil be easily moved out of the way for better favourable heroes. Marketing sucks, overhype is just nonsense and we don't need another. I been collecting everything I can for her and this is one of hose ''exception verses reality'' type of thing. The adverts are louder than words, as what they promise and what you get are two different things... like the hero wars mobile adverts to drag people in. This is just bad on all round. Heck, I am pretty sure even Hedei and Ziri could beat her and they are the worst. This is totally weird and painful. I am not surprised nobody wanted to advance buy her...she isn't worth anything.
