Why I don't use Martha as my healer: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lYeYyLyTgd2ciM4.html

I'm a big Maya fan. In addition to her healing, her vines have pulled opposing Luther and Yasmine off their attacks and returned them back over to their team.

I've noticed that Martha seems to be more effective when Axel is the team pet. With Martha self-healing, it allows her to soak up more redistributed damage from Axel.

Yes, though it depends on the situation. Versus Jhu, you usually want Axel to help protect her from one shots.

@@MistyKathrine To protect against one shots, are you talking about Axel as a patron pet for Martha? I was talking about Axel as the team pet, since Axel's bubbles divert more team damage to Martha if she's keeping her health full with her self-heal attacks. :)

Martha does very significantly more healing to herself than to the rest of the team. Also being in the back position, she tends to get less damage, so less energy. That's why Axel as team pet is very frequently necessary.

You have to max Martha for Osh. You have to max Celeste because trinity. So the question becomes 1) do I want another healer? and 2) if so, which. Arachne+Maya is pretty good in many PvP so Maya. Then the question is: do I want a 4th healer? And if the answer is yes then pour resources into Thea. But, at least for me, that is damn far down the line.

Fantastic video. Thankyou. I didn't know that the purple skill of Thea lasts even after her death. It is not in the skill description. I am tossing up between Thea and Celeste for my second healer. Thea looks great.

I recommend Celeste. Celeste is pretty much the second best hero in the game after Sebastian.

@@MistyKathrine It is fair to say that I am still confused. I have a physical damage team. With celeste buffing magic damage it doesn't help the team much (except Aurora), although the bonus is that she does damage and prevents healing. Thea buffs magic defence which I am weak against, does an aoe silence and speeds up low health heroes. I think maybe Thea might be a better fit for physical teams and Celeste better for magic team. What do you think?

@@carlbrunner5559 Thea is pretty good. Celeste however is pretty much a must have hero. Her ability to stop Oliver patronage healing is very important in PvP.

Hi Misty, great video. Both are beautiful healers. We should include Thea if the enemy team includes magic attack, or Martha if the enemy team includes physical attack. The only problem for me is that Martha's tea pot is stopped, it's really frustrating. Thea and Jhu harmony is really beautiful.

I think Thea is better than Martha, because her violet skill can increase speed when allies' HP drop, while you've to wait for Martha to charge.

This is interesting, but I generally find my Kayla can kill Thea, but have a harder time with Martha. Best is always dependent on the opponent's team composition.

Everyone: Thea's silence is best. Me: Don't know what does silence do. Cause after silence they can attack and use their skills.

Silence stops skills that don't do physical damage.

Out of interest I ran the same 3 battles but instead of using Martha or Thea I put Markus with Merlin in the defending team. With Markus the Cleaver Dante team won versus trinity twins and against the yasmine team, but lost against the Maya Arachne team. Markus can be a solid healer as well, although he is probably best in a team that also utilizes Tristan (cos of his buff)

do you know what the problem is? marta is fine in a new server like mine (299) because nobody has magicians, or they have very weak ones

Cleaver is definetly not a counter to Martha, he at most changes her role. Martha spec is amazing, the only problem is that it takes very long to charge, witch dont happens vs cleaver. If you use a celeste with martha vs cleaver she becomes a great support with her abilty to speed up attacks. Also vs aurora, even if her tea pot cannot stay up for long, she can indirectly heal the team with axel. She heals herself then take most of the damage. She still needs a second healer tough since thats often not enough to heal the entire team

If Martha is be replaced with thea in the issac OSH team? will that team get better results? Could you be kind enough of to do a OSH fight at your level with thea instead of Martha?

On paper she's not bad. In practice though, Martha's constant healing is very good with healing converter. If it wasn't for healing converter Thea may well be better than Martha for that event.

@@MistyKathrine Or use Celeste. A lot of this game depends on who you are fighting. You seem to say Martha's first skill is kind of useless but her speed up is big especially against Osh to really boost damage. Thea is good but would you prefer her over Martha against a Sebastion/Jhu team? For the grand arena sometimes I use Martha and Celeste with my weaker team to keep the damage dealers alive and try to squeak out a win. In those fights my 87k Martha will do more healing then my 130k Celeste so is Celeste really a better healer??. Maybe on maxed out teams she can be but i'll take a weak Martha over a weak Celeste any day. Even at 87k Martha is usually the last hero standing so she does her part. An 87k Celeste will probably be the first to die leaving almost no chance for a win. They all have their purpose and their advantages

@@rantoppp I didn't say her first skill was useless only that it wasn't as good as Thea's passive.

Thea, Martha, Astaroth and Helios + damage dealer are killer against Aurora Crit teams. Helios takes out Crit heroes (& the other heroes they give Crit dmg to), and martha/astar/helios protects with 3x armor, while Thea silences magic attacks. If Sebastian is paired with a maxed Dante, this Helios team can easily eliminate that Dante team and Isaac wont be able to protect them since he now has a Crit buff and is susceptible to Helios's counter-attack against Crit attacks.

On Mobile I have been using Mojo, Jhu, Thea, Maya, Astroroth against Hydra heads. I do 4.4 million damage. My previous team before I found this team was Galandof, Qing Mau, Helios, Maya, Astoroth which was doing 1.9 million. I tested both Maya and Thea in that team and I do believe Maya is the better pick for that particular team. Though, Thea works better in the Mojo team.

I prefer Thea because she's easier to max out and she has Silence

Gotta love how it's always different with every other video. Done seen a bunch saying Martha is so good, it's like having 2 healers. Seen others claim Thea so bad people use Jhu as training for her.

Thea is amazing with her ascension abilities, she also pairs very will WITH Jhu.

I wonder how they both compare again to Dorian as a healer.

Dorian is more of a counter hero, not recommended as a main healer.

people need to learn that Celeste is over rated, like astaroth as a tank. celeste is op in manual mode fights like tower or GW because you can keep her as dps untill you need heals. in auto mode Celeste is garbage because more often often then not, she flips to heals when teams is full health and she only does damage for a couple rounds, and her dark cloud is only useful if enemy heals a lot. martha should not be used as a healer. if you put her in the team for heals you are playing her wrong. she is there to absorbs back line damage from heroes like jhu and for the 250% speed buff, her aoe healing is a bonus.

Celeste is the 2nd best hero in the game. Many fights are difficult to win without her cursed flame ability.
