The Hero Karizma name returns as a sportsbike, meet the new XMR. The classy manner in the corners sits at odds with quality, details and more. The Karizma XMR is a mix of the great and average says Shumi on MotorInc View.

U r wrong here bro😅. Excitement have nothing to do with age. OG Karizma design is OG. We are old school and this Karizma XMR fails carry legacy of OG Karizma.
I remember my cousin had the original Karizma back in the early 2000s (2003 or 2004 it was I think) and as a kid I used to be so in awe of that bike! While this bike has a decent design language, somehow it does not evoke the same feeling I had as a kid when I first saw that OG Karizma!

It can also be thought of as your baseline having increased @MrSMK21. Back then, it was probably the biggest bike that you'd seen until then but now that's likely not the case for the new Karizma.

Want cruise at just 90-100kmph on highways. Gixxer sf250 looks smaller from front and also has same bike in 150cc. So can't feel special in sf250. R15 Riding posture is not good. KTM is costlier also. Honda CB300F also is in the list.

XMR is like the new guy in the house who is very ambitious to lead in the world of sports bike segment but will need mentors like r15, ktm and rs200. But this huge step by Hero is actually very appreciative and XMR will rule the hearts of the young ones and hardcore bikers, they have done a really good job considering the only experience they had so far was in air cooled engines.

Yes, there was nothing like the Karizma back when it was launched. The yellow paint scheme, that flashy half fairing, big headlamps, turn indicators that has the size and looks of a Plastic water glass, the overall dimensions, torquey engine that was more exciting than a pulsar (in my opinion)..... It was a sight when one is seen on the road during my school days. The new version, Though it has it's flaws, I am glad that Hero is still pursuing the idea and selling the product.

@motorinc
23 күн бұрын
You can certainly try it, Varun. Just remember that front sprockets make dramatic changes to the power delivery and it may be too much - it's worth trying because it's inexpensive. Don't go below 14 teeth, that makes the chain take a very sharp u-turn and that can increase wear and tear. If you want to fine-tune (as opposed to dramatic change) the delivery, adding teeth to the rear sprocket is a better bet.

should they make an xpulse 220 with this engine? power figures are considerably better for a new generation xpulse, budget oriented go to ADV for most people and where do you see maverick fit in after the new pulser 400 at such price?
Any news on the xpulse 210 and xpulse 440?

Hero Karizma XMR 2024 is a whole New Motorcycle Good for Hero for competing other manufacturer but If hero put new refine engine to old karizma R with same look but updated some light and instrument cluster. Karizma DNA will shine again. Riding Karizma R is very comfort, elder people love it, Good for Family use, its Practical. all round Good. Riding position good and also comfort for pillion rider.

What you say makes sense, Renga' but with the changes in emissions etc etc it's very far from simple now
Hey motorinc any news about the Xpulse 400 that was seen testing alongside XMR a year ago??

@@motorinc the 440cc platform is well capable of powering Xpulse because of its torquey nature.Honda is also bringing an ADV based on CB 350 platform..So Hero could have made the bigger Xpulse based on the 440 platform rather than going for an LC engine..Anyway I hope they will bring that without much delay..Fingers crossed..

The torque focus of the 440 is too much for an Adv which needs to have more performance across a broader range of rpm, TBH

@@motorinc more than that Hero needs to step up their game in the upper premium segment. With the sole long stroke engine its definitely not possible to attract more performance loving customers especially youngsters..With Bajaj and its associate brands trying harder to make the 40bhp popular among the folks the market leader needs to have an LC engine platform as well to stay relevant .
I still own the first generation Karizma 2006 model, and it is still my daily communitor. I was lucky enough to be honoured by Niranjan Gupta sir and Hrithik Roshan at the launch of this beautiful machine. Next year my old Karizma is going to be 20years old ❤

also some things i would love to see do reply with a signature i would love to know who replyed to my comment wether it was shumi, kartikey or some other team member also do start a myth buster sort of things where you answer to our ignorant questions with your beautiful answers like how much time is ideal warmup time? why do you need to warm up? why not touch the redline in every gear etc.
Will interceptor 650 get a big update this 2024 ?
