I’ve been pretty peed off with the GoPro Hero 8 and I’ve also heard lots of other stories. I really cannot stand when it stops altogether when I’m snorkeling. My 2008 doc fit Panasonic LUMIX outlasted this hero 8! And it’s still going. Over $400 for a little cube of trouble. I can’t get it off, and it would help if you explain in a little more detail what bit am I peeling off exactly at the start because there seems to be two layers there, a rubber front, then metal underneath it, but I take it’s just the rubber as you wouldn’t be able to be it if otherwise. Anyway, I don’t see the point to this when there are perfectly capable ready to go camera solutions for DIY drones out there. Mine is salt water damaged so that’s why I’m watching. 😬
