Unreal striker. Back when the Champions League was class and you had so many world class strikers. Miss those days.

His career was weird, he kept going back and forth between Chelsea and Inter... But his run in the Champ League with Milan was amazing, two wonderful goals in the final, too bad Milan weren't able to keep him, him and Shevchenko worked so well together

Because injuries had messed him up and destroyed his prime before he even went to Inter or Chelsea. Crespo's best years were pre-injuries when he was at Parma and Lazio.

@Will Stubbs yea great assist. That finish though, one touch dink 20 yards out in a fraction of a second. Dudek didn’t even see it coming. Great movement too to open the space for the pass splitting the defenders like that.
Absolutely loved Herman during his year at Chelsea, was gutted when he left. What a class man and player.

legendary player, few are so good at playing football!
I just love his goal against MU on second leg.. what a header 👍👍👍
he was a great finisher, his last hits are always high quality and strong. The years when football was aesthetic! current football 💵
Favorite Argentinian striker of all time. Deadly finisher, and he did it with FIVE different clubs.
What a legend!
What a great times for Serie A that was. And those strikers duos Inter - Crespo Vieri, Milan - Superpippo Shevchenko, Juve - Del Piero Trezeguet, Roma - Totti Batistuta. I misssed this times
Crespo il primo anno alla Lazio era impressionante. Iniziò lento poi vinse la classifica marcatori facendo praticamente un goal a partita nel girone di ritorno. Segnava in qualunque modo possibile. Ricordo soprattutto un goal l'anno dopo, in un Lazio - Fiorentina, in cui gli arriva un pallone incontro ad altezza petto e lui fa una mezza rovesciata sparandolo all'incrocio, una roba uscita da Holly e Benji.
One of my alll time favorite strikers!! Back when there was so many classic number 9’s like Batigol, R9,bam bam zamarano, Salas, vieri , shearer, kilinsman, bierhoff, Raul, morientes & I can keep going I loved all ,crespo was a goal hungry dog classic South American goal poacher, him on Parma & lazio is when I fell in love with him & seeing him link up with vieri at my Inter was a dream, wish he was better in the premier lg

Agree, these perimeter strikers are more adapted to Italy and Spain, where they have a few midfielders who are able to find them with that last high quality pass, rather than the premier league where the striker must trigger the action from lower damn the pitch. The same issue Shevchenko had when he played there as well
3:12 ICONICO!🖤💙
Damn, so many legends with their first UCL goal in 1997: Crespo, Trezeguet, Henry, Élber, Scholes, Figo and Inzaghi.

That assist from Kaka is just ridiculous.... damn
That is just ridiculous, that for 6,5 years (1995-2002) when Batistuta and Crespo had been playing in national team at the same time they had less than 60 minutes together: against Colombia at the last fixture of eliminatorias 1998 in Buenos Aires in November 1997, in March 1999 at the very first Bielsa encounter with A team in friendly agains the Netherlands in Amsterdam and in June 2000 in Colombia in eliminatorias 2002. Had Passarella and, especially, Bielsa in 2002 hadn’t being so stubborn - Argentina could have achieved more in 1998 and in 2002 world cups. But it’s just amazing that for so many years Argentina had such interchangeable world class #9
Legendary player and legendary coach
One of the best Argentinian players in all the Time . And his quality proved the value of the Calcio and the Italian football
