Actually, yes, I do play bedrock, it was a gift. Family totally loves hermitcraft. I didn't know there was a difference in platforms when we first found you. Was researching how to play for my autistic 9 year old.

bedrock is also the only version available on a lot of consoles and on mobile, so sometimes there isn't the choice. I have java, but my computer can barely run it so I went back to playing bedrock mobile edition, which I used to do ages ago with my sister on our tablets

Yep. Started on Bedrock because kids were on tablets and OH and I can join in on our phones. Kid #1 does now have a PC and a java license too, and plays a bit of both, but there's zero chance we're going to end up with four sufficiently specced PCs in the house, so if we play together it's always going to be bedrock.

You guys dont understand. The last... week? For some reason I have had to save the thumbs in about 5 different formats. After three attempts, the one I sent looked okay on my work comp, but I pull up my phone and the colors are fried two hours later. I'm sure Tango saw good colors, and YT fried it. There is an investigation going on 😭😭😭

You can follow what he's saying at 2x? I watch a lot of VODs at 2x but I had to dial Tango's back to 1.75x because he talks faster than most of the other channels I watch.

@theforestofoak yeah, this is what happened. I usually have most hermits at base speed but I hadn't changed it from the video before this one.

I used a furnace minecart once in my current world, when I was moving a shulker out of the end. That's pretty much the only useful function, moving hostile mobs on long journeys.

They can be used for players and you don't need powered rails or power, but all the uses are very specific and rare for most players

Honeyvator is better for multiple floors, getting on and off. Straight drop into snow carpet works for a quick descent. Xisuma has stops, Impulse or somebody else ((Cub?)) has a different method.

That's nice, a good way to make up for making it harder to farm raids. Redstone isn't as rare and high-value an item as totems or even emeralds, so it should be easier to get than the other stuff you get from raids.

I know I’m late to the stream on this one, not watching it live, but tango totally should take the back corners of pearls smelter and add a couple extra twists so that it looks the same but has a couple of extra lines of smelters back behind in that cave area and then see how long it takes pearl to notice

The Rolling and Riding Update. Make changes to rail carts and some of the riding animals (you could include Tango's idea about Ravagers). And because you're making changes to Donkeys and Llamas (and how they carry things) you can do the inventory update.

31:00 Tango, hot tip for crafting a bow: imagine what a bow looks like (if it helps, on the back of a hunter in WoW). How many bows have you seen with a straight stick and a curved string? :P

Foundry has a lot of grind in the tech progress at the moment, so you will often finding yourself waiting on research before you can effectively proceed. Limited and depletable resources aggravate the situation, especially if you choose an unfortunate seed. Hopefully they will balance the play loop a bit better as they continue to develop it. Definitely with access to more resources you would have more options in what you can do. Satisfactory 1,0 is in closed beta at the moment. Techtonica is fun.

regarding the furnace minecart debate you and scar had at the end and people who claim to use them are liars - hear me out. Early/Mid game they are genuinely useful i single player worlds. . I don't think I'm alone in waiting to build nether roof farms until after I go to the end... I want shulker boxes and wings first especially for gold farms given how much easier wings and shulkers make it to gather the 10k magma blocks... uncrafted rails can be condensed into iron blocks and logs which also make dozens of other things on the fly... only 2 inventory slots and then when you need rail can just drop a bed, make a chest and crafting table, and then all the rail you need to move villagers to an iron farm, or a shulker to the overworld for a farm as part of getting wings and first few boxes after the dragon fight. furnance minecart is stupid cracked in that it travels like 800 blocks iirc blocks on one coal... so before shulker boxes they make a ton of sense - both from an inventory management and resource management perspective - powered rail is too expensive until gold becomes free from a mid-end game nether roof farm & more importantly - early game you almost always have iron, wood, cobble, and coal in your inventory & inventory management is miserable prior to shulkers & ender chest. they have their place - honestly are more useful than horses or camels imo...
