xisumavoid What a great build. I'm pleasantly surprised - For someone who has said previously that they sometimes struggle a little, you've really upped the ante on this one with some of the detail. good job!

I love this build. Actually, some of the Hermits' rather asymmetric builds (e.g. Cilantro's Hobbit home) got me into playing and building again. It's the natural, rather organic looking houses that blend into the environment which make the game for me.

"Xisuma's Golden Carrot Shop (or as I think Slip might say - Shoppe) " looks pretty cool! Loving the builds this season!

Man, terraform should really be a word in the sense that Xisuma used it. It makes sense; terra (Latin for land) form (Latin for shape, form). Awesome videos, Xisuma!

The Overkill achievement is for doing 8 hearts of damage (16 health) and that's exactly the amount of hearts a spider has. And since you one shotted him you got the achievement.

Call the golden carrots: Xisuma's Curious Caramel Carrots! Also Rabbit stew is a good food to use because not only does it have a large amount of saturation it also restores five haunches of hunger. However I still feel golden carrots are the best because A)Rabbit stew does not stack (Groan) and B)Its a pain to make. P.s. I think the shop looks AWSOME! Great job. :-)

Xisuma if u put redstone ore under carpets it creates a really cool particle affect for the carpet :-)

Overkill isn't an achievement for the first kill on there server, its for dealing 8 hearts of damage in one shot I believe

Xisuma this is an important comment. Carpets mantain the properties of the blocks below. ElrichMc has get advantage about that and he created an amazing build. He created a ender farm without roof. He put a lot of ice and he covered it with carpet, then he melted that ice with light sources and the ice converted in water. Enderman can not teleport there and you can walk through it. The problem is that ElRichMc is an spanish youtuber and people dont understand him. I recommend you to see the video of survival called "El Uber Orber". English people only know him from zipkrowd.

Hey, Xisuma, I had an idea how to fit the chest in under ther carrot without mucking up the Pixelart (too much) or making it sit out from the wall. The 2 spruce blocks that make up the Pixelart and have just 1 polished andesite block between them and the floor, put a double chest below them and change the spruce blocks themselves to stairs with the flat side facing out from the wall so you can open it. Or just use a single chest. It wouldn't matter. Just a thought. Thanks for the content! Great video!

what you could do is to put droppers at the seller and when someone buy something, he drops his diamonds at him

I have an idea for the top balcony. You can put down diamond ores and have hermits pay 2 diamonds to break one of them with a fortune pic. Great way for both you and the hermits to make money and call it the diamond dance

You should have the beacon go through where you have the lamp and weird stone block in the middle of the underground platform of your stair case

Try throwing trap doors on the exposed glowstone under the stairs. I don't know if it will look better or worse but its worth a look I think. Cheers X!

Xisuma, do a myth busting on whether or not mobs killed by iron golems drop rare drops.

Oh man ive never seen a design like the one you made next to the stair case leading up to the balcony, its so awesome, the angle at which it is almost defies the laws of minecraft

The overkill Achievement is for doing 18+ damage (9 hearts) with a single hit, not for first kill. That's Monster Hunter.

the splayed gradients on the stairs looks awesome! great design

Man I love how you can access the roof of the nether, it makes farming for ExP easier

You could place dark oak stairs to add more details for the enchanting area.

(8:50)Biffa just discovered something that I discovered 1 year ago! Basically, if you have some lag, and you take fall damage and as soon as it registers you jump, you get launched upwards: If you jump as soon as soon as it registers, the knockback you get from the damage you take, will be stronger because you are in the air and in this case the knockback comes from the ground and thus knocks you upwards. In the end you will end up jumping 2 blocks :D I think that might have been not understandable.... but I tried ;-;

take some andesite, diorite, granite, gravel and other stones and dot those around the mountain around your base. makes thigs look more natural

Just an idea, you should add a small, back entrance where the 2nd floor opened up into the cave. Could be a really nice addition. Looks like a good spot for a nice little opportunity.

the wall with lapis item frames on is real plain...

a good way to do ceilings is to use upside down stairs with the slabs to just add a little depth

Shop looks pretty impressive. As you walk in, on the right under the stairs maybe put a lounge or chairs and some more booshes just to fill in the space. :)

(around 9:00 ) He meant that he jumped on a slime block and it hurt him, but he still bounced up.

If your 15 blocks away from your front door inside that wood house you see mumbos balloon perfectly!

Just an idea! When you are selling your items put them in a chest with a blue-ish wool block renamed to diamonds so you don't waste diamonds. :D

I've been watching your videos for ages now, definitely since the first Hermitcraft, and your building from an aesthetic standpoint has come on leaps and bounds! A real inspiration, well done, X :).

Hi Xisuma! I gotta say that you're just getting better and better at building every episode! I'm really looking forward to more Hermitcraft. A tip for the lighting: put trapdoors on the glowstone in the sealing (and elsewhere) so the ugly texture don't steal all the attention! ;) maybe you could move them further into the sealing?

Hahaha, my favorite part was about 9:23 (ish) when X went "Ohnonono!" His voice just sounded really funny. :D

Maybe you should "dim" the acaccia wooden stairs, because they look a little raw, maybe signs or itemframes on the sides would make em look better

1. You should do something different with the lapis corner. It looks like someone's pen exploded and it looks too messy. It doesn't match the rest of the shop. 2. You should have a back entrance where you broke through into the cave-ish thing.

Hi X, i just had an awesome idea, i noticed you had moved the armor stand from its original position, and i was just thinking, that it would be nice to add some sort of livelyness to the shop, so you could put him in a minecart and have some sort of delay-randomizer activate some powered rail every once in a while, so that he randomly ´walks´ back and forth behind the counter...

hi I'm new to the channel and i love it a lot .. anyway i don't know if we can suggest stuff for you to build or not .. but i thought it would be pretty cool if someone could build a big black submarine that is floating on the surface of the water so you could enter it from the top trap door or what ever and then inside you will have your storage room and chests .. just like mumbo's air ballon storage

supa hot fire The air ballon is neither storage space :) It's Mumbo Jumbos house :) I agree with you that it could be cool, but since it requires circles, then sending the Idea to ***** or Sl1pg8r - Minecraft, Mods, and MOAR! could be a better idea :) I haven't watched all of them and though Keralis is the owner of WoK, I'm not entirely sure whether he can do circles or not himself :) But I'm sure Sl1pg8r and False can, judging out from the town hall and false's base :)

supa hot fire I didn't want to sound rough, so sorry. Everyone has his own bits and bobs, some are good at stuff and bad at other. I think a great way of knowing more about Hermitcraft is watching the Nostalgic bits and the Collabs, that's how I got to know them.

K alsalman In brief, Hermitcraft is a group of *friends* that play minecraft and other games together, mainly on the Vanilla and Modsauce servers.

There's a lack of accessible minecart shelves in the shop Xisuma :)

i love that shop... REALLY LOVE IT but also there is no point of selling golden carrots when u have as much chicken as you want from mumbo jumbo's chicken farm. T_T
