I missed Zed finding it and have been yelling every time a hermit goes past without checking what was in the pond. I had no clue it was a trap!

I haven’t watched the video yet so imma just assume it’s the water that goes deep in the tnt room on level 1 and iskall also fell for that Edit: Nvmd completely different place

Love how Tango incorporated the mechanic from old video games where you can find Easter Eggs hidden “off-screen” by just playing the game, random exploring, and sheer luck haha

Yes! I watch with my kids and it’s great that Cub isn’t afraid to show “failures” because they see that someone they admire has timed things go wrong and he gets up and keeps going! Thank you Cub! X

im excited to see doc screaming and shouting after falling in the frost ember area at the end of the dungeon right before the shop tomorrow. imma be disappointed if doc doesnt put that in his video cuz tangos stream viewers found it hysterical

I feel like you are recognizing the audio cues better than the other Hermits I have watched. Well done sir!

Yeah, it's nice to hear someone actually say "sounds like some treasure dropped over there." So many of the other hermits I watch are constantly saying "wow I can't believe I'm barely seeing any treasure" while there are noteblocks going off around them constantly

Good guy Tango, rewarding people for falling for the pond trap. It's a good tactic too, makes sure people don't stop exploring weird places ut of caution

I had an interesting observation. The more Sneak/clank block you have, the faster you can go through the dungeon(walking and sprinting), but the more stability/hazard block, the slower you can go as passages will close off slower. A combo of both lets you spend even more time in the dungeon, and players can focus on more of one or the other depending on their playstyle. It’s actually really clever game design on Tango’s part.

This was just what I needed after a tiring day... Decked out runs, falling for the trap, Scar giving support in the background, the first easter egg and spotting Skulk-Cub references in the Dojo (I saw the back of that sign)

Epic. Those first few runs were brutal, and then the trap of ponderous freezing right after. Glad you got a refund (mostly because I am addicted and that means more runs, but also partially because you deserved it)

First Easter Egg for Cub, no surprises there. But first uncommon card to follow up and close to escaping the post-game ravager, now we're talking!

you know what would be cool cub, if at your alcove you had signs with the names of the artifacts you've collect so far and their corresponding hermit, almost like collecting them.

cub could've lured the ravager in that roundabout just after the pond but yeah it seemed pretty difficult. He needs to stop facehugging ravagers to escape haha

Run 9 was technically just 2 ravagers, you just saw one twice.

One of the most “co-op” moments of Hermitcraft is is that they could each punch a ravager when cornered or all paths blocked. And eventually the ravager would die, easing the difficulty. But they don’t because that’s not the spirit of the game

That was the 1st time I saw somebody die to the ice trap in an official run. LOL

Between choosing medium difficulty on his second run and charging straight at the same ravager twice, I’d say Cub makes the most… unique decisions while playing Decked Out. (Jk I know it can be stressful in the heat of the moment but the runs still turned out to be very entertaining!)

I would be okay if Decked Out episodes from all of the hermits were basically the remainder of Season 9. The surface hasn’t even been scratched for how deep this game is.

Cub, almost immediately after you four then dubs Easter egg you went to the room with the table. You picked berries. The wall is recessed behind the berries. Could that be a place you could enter if willing to get pricked by theberry bush? That would be like something Tango would do. Could there be another Easter Egg? Might be worth looking. Great video!

An interesting way to cheat would be to go to the easter egg area to drop off items in the barrel, then pick them up on a later run where you'd have less clank/hazard.
