The No-wings club makes total sense, considering everyone's base is pretty much within walking distance and shops are going to be decentralized; BDubs is also making road system so I'm really looking forward to a season with less flying!

I love that most hermits this season are interested in playing without flying. Bdubs and his crew are making roads, everyone is getting horses etc. As a player who never really got to use elytra in my survival worlds, I feel more connected to hermits this season. The world download hopefully will be more "walking" friendly :))

@@JTsilver05 I played on the server 10 years ago and we didn't have elytras back them. Since then I play only single player, roam around the map exploring and when my inventory is full, I settle down at one spot, but then I get bored in the world alone quickly and create new one so I never really play to the point where I get elytra :D

I feel like this is going to be a short season anyways, my guess is caves and cliffs part 2 would start season 9. They are already doing a lot of unique things they probably wouldn't do otherwise. I do really like this idea, a mini season. A lot of people are saying that they will move away from the continent instead, but has any hermit actually confirmed this? As far as I know this is just speculation

@@frisout well they said in the beginning that if you build anything outside of the island. It might disappear. aka reset. So They might update to the caves and cliffs part 2 when it comes out and generate the land outside of the island that they are building on. So It might be a longer season instead.

Having a club in the sky without wings makes sense, it's the first test

I love watching the other hermits but something about Iskall's episodes is so lovely. The scenes where he's just placing blocks without talking, the lack of loud background music, the joy in his voice. It's always a very good way to spend half an hour. Thanks, Iskall!

@@Jack4K_ there’s no science. You don’t need a higher refresh rate than your monitor if you’re just playing a casual game like Minecraft. With competitive games you shouldn’t cap your FPS but for Minecraft the 1k FPS is only wasting energy on your gpu

You can play minecraft at 60fps on a toaster...get optifine, and go in to the details tab on your task manager. Look for javaw.exe and set priority to high. Even if you have a 10 year old laptop with just the built in GPU you will get 60fps that way.

You really need to talk to Bdubs, because he has been building roads all across the continent to ride horses on them. He has complained that he never gets to use horses properly because he ends up using elytra. So your No Wings Club and his roads and horses would work together really well.

I really like the no elytra rule, I would love a season without rockets atleast, so you can get creative with transport methods, like ender pearls, ice roads, horses and so on.

I love the idea of not flying too much this season. It seems to be an idea that nearly every hermit is up for considering the new road system that bdubs has made. Bdubs brought up the good point that it makes you feel more immersed in the world by walking or riding a horse.

You should talk with bdubs. With his horse hub plans, the no fly club can really take off. If stations are set up everywhere, and paths are made convenient, you could arguably make it quite efficient to land travel.

As a native of Buffalo NY, I wouldn’t be able to go without wings for more than a week.

The "No wings club" should join the road group that built all the roads and the gas station

Here's an idea for the nwc building Have multiple different houses hanging down getting lower and lower until people can finally get in without wings The different members can build a room each
