1. Use slime, not water. Water in a place that uses so much redstone probably isn't a great idea. 2. Impulse is the one who gave the shulker of golden apples. Great choice for someone to give some butler services, I think.

In my case it's a lot of wood and stone tools until I actually mine iron. Depends on how I start my world (I delete my progress if I die in an unknown area and can't find my stuff in time)

I decided to try and flatten the world once using wood tools first until I got to a stone layer and then using stone after. Got a few chunks down to sea-level before finally calling it quits (got boring after a week).

Drowned only spawn in Ocean and River biomes, so Mumbo should be covered... also that's the same I was considering for my base, one layer of a block I'm not decided for, one layer of water, and then glass :)

I think that drowned can only spawn in 2-block-high water... Not sure. Not an expert on spawn mechanics.

@@oliversmalley7771 you're right, had to check the wiki.. "Drowned spawn naturally at light level of 7 or less in all ocean biomes (except for warm ocean), and river biomes. They spawn at higher rates in rivers than in other biomes. in Java Edition drowned spawn in groups of 1 inside flowing water or source water that is 2 blocks or taller."

If x= redstone and y=water then x+y=disaster however x/y meaning if x is over y than x/y=fine but if a=slime then x/a=bouncy

To have the void effect you need multiple layers of glass so u probably need 90,000 glass blocks to get the effect.

Realistic: flood it with water so mobs won’t spawn and you won’t hurt yourself Cool: iskalls glass fog trick. Mobs can’t spawn and it will look stunning, but you need to dig more and the glass needed will be a bit much.

Maybe fill it with honey? You can make a honey farm in the industrial district so obtaining it won't be a problem, and it will save you from fall damage like water

@@AnnikkaHowe mathematically it is quite literally less work, say u find 6 diamonds in 30 mins and mine 1000 blocks twice as fast with it compared to mining 1000 blocks with stone pickaxes for 60 mins, in the end, result u have one extra diamond pick which u can mine 2000 blocks with for the next 60 min

I feel like a great visual bottom for you would be a one block layer of water over that infinity glass effect. The walls of the pit could be colored oppositely to the stone used in each farms

I think it would look really cool to make a striped slime-block/honey-block floor for the industrial district.

Cover the floor in a layer of sline blocks but under the slime blocks alternate different colors of light blocks, I used glowstone and sea lanters in 4 x 4 squares and it looks pretty nice, plus your industrial district will glow

Use slime, not water, if lava pours down from something breaking it would be a pain, and slime blocks are bouncy, and easier to build off of compared to water.

Well, he could just put waterlogged slabs instead. That is immune to the effects of lava, and you can build off of waterlogged slabs as well as you can any other block.

You can make the floor out of slimeblocks and put a mozaic of carpet on top of it to retain the slimeblock properties like the Sci-Craft server has at the quad witch farm

ofc this is like almost a year too late, but slabs/stairs on the sides and water within. it removes the fall damage and the nasty slow walking through water. also it looks fancy when used to make small rivers in a greenhouse/gardenhouse

You have to put some layers of glas at the bottom with a gap between them and then cover it with carpets, whitch gives a nice effect

I really like the idea of slime blocks. I know it’s a lot of slime balls but I feel like it will look amazing in the long run
