You got Fooled! Iskall85 is every bit as good as Mumbo Jumbo, he's just not as confident. Iskall thinks he's an idiot, but he's just as good or better than Mumbo! I LOVE Mumbo (in a distant- not creepy- sort-of-way), but I am certain Iskall is just less willing to show off! Actually, he needs a booster of self-confidence... Iskall, recently I decided to build my own version of the Genius Machine in my survival world and I ran into the same problem with the zombie. Turns out that there's a bug with their pathfinding which makes the Zombie think it can't hit the villager. It's something to do with the the Zombie considering the rail as an inaccessible area. Removing the block directly above the zombie fixes the issue. Just make sure the zombie doesn't have access to the rail next to where the villager lands (place blocks in the corner next to that rail) to make sure the zombie doesn't get in the minecart before the newly infected villager can.

Idea: Decorate the glass tower thing - maybe with a spiral of green glass/panes?

I think turning the village breeder into a skyscraper would look pretty sweet. If you design it like the Burj Khalifa you can call it the Iskal-if... OF DOOM!!! Then you could place all your converted villagers into small townhouses all around it and make a small city.

Hey Iskall, I have an idea to help conceal the villager breeder and help it blend in with the base. You could build several dark, metallic floating space ships that are above the evil base. I was thinking the ships could be something like the alien space ships in the Marvel movies like the Chitari Leviathan ship or Ronan or Thanos’ ships. They obviously don’t have to be that big but you could build smaller, fighter jet-sized ships that have those elements. Whatever you decide to do, I know it will look amazing!

You can add 3 more farms in villager breeder and then it will be looking like an ufo with that green beam in the middle

In my order to decorate your village breeder, you should create a huge skyscraper covering the entire thing, and add a HUGE fire breathing dragon clinging onto the top. The dragon should be bony, it’s ribs should jut out, maybe even make it chewing on a jumbo jumbo eating something “DOOMish” with a spoon. XD this would be AMAZING! (This is what I would do) Ask Grian for help on the dragon, or pearlescentmoon!

You could make 4 of these plattforms around like Impulse and the Pipe for the Villager could be like a Beamer

Iskall, a few things: If you want to centre the glass tube the villagers down down, put more platforms in. I know the original Impulse design only has one, but in his base on the server, he actually has 4 surrounding the central breeder, because it doubles as an auto farm. On the server I play on, I did one for each type of crop (potatoes, carrots, beetroot and wheat) so you have a close by source of emeralds for when you're training your villagers, which leads to my next point ... Loop the zombification chamber. Yes, you get a discount for curing them once, but curing them 3 or 4 times makes almost everything drop down to 1 item per emerald/1 emerald per item. I got 3 farmers, cured them 3 (possibly 4) times each, and now they trade 1 item per emerald. As you can only trade 12 at a time before they need to restock, that's still a good income of emeralds from those autofarms you'd have up top, which you need while training the other villagers. One thing I did notice though ... I thought they only trade twice a day, but so long as they can restock during working hours, they'll continue to trade over and over. Imagine all the nametags you could get from librarians if they were only 1 emerald each (Which I tested, you need to cure a librarian 3 times to get the price down to 1 emerald). Lastly, the zombie issue of not paying attention. I had the same problem, you need to completely block off its line of sight from anything except the villager you're converting, including yourself. It seems the zombies suffer from what I call ADOS: Attention Defeci - Oooo ... Shiny; make very sure they can't be distracted by anything. Minimise the glass you're using around him I think helps too. I'm pretty sure they can't see through glass, but using other solid, non-transparent blocks really improve their attention span.

Grian didn’t help Mumbo but Mumbo did take inspiration from Grian’s build

Centre the breeding platform and make the tube like a laser shooting into a thundercloud (the thundercloud surrounding the breeding platform). As if the laser produces lightning and thunder. Maybe you need some help from Scar when it comes to the cloud :)

Instead of centering the part where the farmer is, you can build 3 more around the beam and make a bigger version of the UFO with the Alien ship that Scar made in Hermitville. Also, if you put a hopper under the water source where the baby villagers fall, you can get the extra carrots from breeding to fall there and add a carrot farm as a function of the base.

I'm new to the Hermitcraft players, but I first found Mumbo then you and Grian, and since the Sahara project I've followed all 3 of you religiously. Keep making great content, and the three of you are hilarious together!

I reckon you should make the farm look like an evil UFO of doom and the water tubes will look like a laser beam of doom. Then make the trading hall look like an evil orphanage of doom because you pretty much raise the villager up, brainwash them and then spit them out back into society.

You should make the breeder in the sky into a UFO, the tube (of doom) can be be like the tractor beam!

You could make 3 more villager farms. So the parents to everyone are in the middle. Then you could make a UFO and make the glass where the kids fall down green so it looks like one of these laser things🛸

Your building style is probably my favorite amongst all the hermits. 👍🏼 And I love the redstone stuffs that you include too. 👍🏼

Make the breeder extend out symmetrically around the tube and make it a giant UFO shooting the villagers down to experiment with the genius machine
