    Flip-flops are a pretty advanced concept in circuitry-going from straight input/output logic to worrying about state is a big leap-and Pearl being like, "Oh, I get it," and immediately making full use of it in her game was really humbling to this guy with a physics degree and a drawer full of arduinos.

    You can use those blocks of lapis to make virtually all the blue dye stacks you'll ever need, but the block itself is rather underappreciated as a building material. I have this strong impression it could be incorporated in the vivid color pallet of your Solar Punk build projects rather easily. There's just something rich about all the terracotta oranges, and the soothing burgundy and brick reds mixed with the teals from the various warped blocks, as well as the copper tying the oranges, and green-y blues together. Glazed blocks will probably bring even more of that lively color into a building style that's all about incorporating nature into every aspect of greener living. Lapis blocks as an accent somewhere would be neat to see. 😃

    It may be a bit over the top, but you could make the payment turn the game on/off. Like, when they come down the game is off(lights off, game won't play). When they pay, it turns the game on (lights on and allows the game to be played). When the game is reset, it empties the payment barrel and turns everything back off again until the next payment. You could also add a little start up or introduction sound/lighting effects/fireworks or something to hype up the starting, idk, obviously up to you. Would look quite cool, and would remind people to pay instead of just resetting and playing again without paying(likely by accident, we all know the Hermits can get a little tunnel visioned by exciting things lol).

    Just a small suggestion, for hard mode. How about the Hermits use their postal stamp to indicate which player is playing hard mode, so that the winning bundle only goes to them once, allowing others to play hard mode and still get a winning bundle. This prevents abuse of the hard bundle winnings and encourages the hermits to buy more postal stamps🤷🏾‍♂️

  • @IceMetalPunk

    @IceMetalPunk

    4 күн бұрын

    While that's cool... it's over-engineered. She'd have to go on the honor system that the hermits are putting in their own stamps (and not someone else's), and if she's relying on the honor system anyway, then just trusting each hermit won't play hard mode more than once a week is good enough without the extra engineering efforts. Unless.... she gives out special "Postal ID Stamps", where everyone gets only one of their own, and then she can filter for that, returning them at the end of each week -- through the post!

A lot of redstoners could have a bite of that!!! 🤩 Just imagine tango would have some nice cinematic close up with explanation of his factory!!! I feel like a lot of redstoners just do humongous things and then it's just: 'I did a thing, it works now / I had a problem but don't worry, I solved it' and then you only see humongous redstone in the background 😅 I loved your cinematic but also your pattern of 'I wanted to achieve this, so I did it with this because it does this' and in the background you see it in action - really great! ❤

Just the fact that she combined two customized item filters with different purposes to work in unison and fully understands how they interoperate, as she clearly shows when she immediately runs straight to the one barrel out of many where the items were 'stuck'. That's impressive by any standard... And here I was, being so proud of customizing and implementing the typical Impulse-style overflow-protected item filter so my base's automatic doors wouldn't accept any other items than my custom base key...
