I'm a bit worried that Iskall's new cat might be lonely all by himself, might it be alright to leave one or a few of your cats with him to keep him company? I just feel a bit bad is all.

OMG the wool shop should be called “Partners in Twine” as its going to be multiple hermits contributing and 'twine' is a play on ‘crime'.

When you found Jellie i was suddenly realizing this might be the first season where Scar won't get a cat in minecraft. That is a sad thought.

I have this beautiful mental image of Iskall begrudgingly holding a cat that Stress has just shoved into his arms. Don't fret, Iskall - it could be a tamagatchi. Or a real cat!

Seeing Minecraft irl is nothing, once I put water in the freezer to get ice and not long later left the house and thought 'oh no, my house wont be loaded how will it freeze' 🤦‍♀

your not alone in the seeing minecraft irl; one time id been playing modded mc for hours when i heard the tell tale sound of kitty trying to eat plastic; and i tried to shift irl to make all entities glow. this did not tell me where my cat was.

Stress did you know your cats will laydown on you while you are sleeping if theyre not sitting and if you do it enough theyll give you gifts :D

You're not alone in seeing mc irl, I have a patio umbrella folded up outside my kitchen window, and when I'm tired and see it out of the corner of my eye, it jumpscares me like it's an enderman every time! 🙈🤣 Also, when I spent hours and hours breaking the grass around a village, I spent the entire school run wanting to punch any pieces of longer grass or weeds I saw! 🤣🙈

I use WI zoom and freecam when I play, and sometimes I try to zoom or f4 in real life and get very confused when it doesn't work...

Iskall is so unexciting about getting a cat... cats are so under appreciated. Not only are they stationary creeper defense turrets... but they can also be used as mobile creeper defense turrets. They are great to have in strategic locations around the base and silenced with the vanilla tweaks silence name-tag datapack, rogue creepers whom creeped from a far can't get you if you have cats around entrances. We all know that despite every effort to light up everywhere, there is always that one missed spot that just spews out random creepers that always catch you at the worst possible time.

they're also phantom defense turrets! they're great to have near your bed if it's outside so that phantoms don't swoop you while you're trying to sleep also the drops they can give if they're not sitting when you sleep can be nice to get. also the VT silence datapack is v good but I'd also suggest, iirc there's a VT quiet cats resource pack that you can use as well, for those iskalls who live near crazy cat ladies or ppl visiting cleo's cat cafe

2:02 OH PLEASE TELL ME IT'S THAT DINING AREA THING THAT CLEO MADE!!! I think I actually left a comment a few episodes ago requesting it. I didn't get into Hermitcraft until Season 8, but I actually watched Cleo's video of them making it because I thought their armor stand art was SO COOL!!!

Ooh!! That would make sense! I was trying so hard to remember season six but I just completely forgot about the dining room (in my defence it's been like five years)

quick bit of help in the cat department if you leave boats out the cats will automatically trap them selves, then you can row them to other places for easy taming by other players.

You should make it your mission to make Iskall do a lot of things he doesn’t want to do this season. Maybe get a camel next? Or a llama?

A few months ago I was driving home from work, and it was just late enough that the sun had gone down. I went around a curve in the road and saw a "creeper" in the side of the road. Yes, it WAS a green trash bin, not a creeper, but it sure as heck made me jump!

Stress you can lock the item frames from rotating trigger if_invisible set 1 (Recesses the item and makes it look like its on the chest and not floating) trigger if_invisible set 2 (Locks the item in place. Can't be removed nor rotated.) trigger if_invisible set 3 (Unlocks the item again)

dont worry we will love you even if you have a chest monster greater than the stress monster

Hi Stress, I really enjoyed your building in this episode! Building on the fly, changing your mind - in the end it felt like I was on the journey with you and I preferred that a lot to just showing the end result. Just wanted to let you know!

For the sheep farm room... from personal experience I can say that you want to expand the room, well the main portion of the floor, down a few blocks. This allows you to have much easier access to the wool stock and expand it an extra double chest or 2 as this farm DOES put out a TON of wool if optimized. You'll want a 1 block air space between 3 platforms of grass with the middle platform being where the sheep is eating from. This greatly increases the speed at which the grass regrows which allows the sheep to eat much faster. Sheep can actually eat and replenish their wool much faster than the grass regrows. So additional layers of grass increase the "spread" rate quite a bit. It might be a bit of work, slightly tricky, and slightly ugly but it's 100% worth it to double or triple the rates.

Your build from overhead is starting to form a sort of ying/yang symbol. It just works for some reason :)

The speed of the wool farm is mostly... The sheep will gain wool as soon as they eat, they eat as soon as the grass grows. How quickly grass grows depends on how many grass blocks are nearby from which it can spread to your block.

I think she was referring to parapets. The bit of a castle wall that sticks up a bit is called a parapet.

Note for the future: when dealing with land animals (like sheep and cows), it may be useful to have a second pin area to serve as an "airlock." That way, if any of the animals try to escape, then there is a means to capture them. Also, if you place a set of a block of some kind above a gate and then open the gate, that will provide a spot for baby cows and sheep to get out while trapping the adult cows and sheep.

There is a client side mod called ClickThrough that will allow you to open chests, barrels and shulkers through item frames without causing the item to spin. You can toggle it with F9 so you can still interact with the item if you need to

In all these episodes I can't get over Stress' strong accent, her laughter and the dynamics between iskall and her! And its all glorious and so much fun!! :D

Stress: you need to keep the grass around your sheep so the grass has more chance to spread under them (so they can eat and grow wool) ... right now your wool farm is a little handicapped

If you plant short grass on the grass block the sheep will eat the short grass and you won’t have to rely on the grass block to regrow each time they eat it that way it is more efficient.
