Corn, bok choy, zucchini, oh my! A few years ago I made a video with some of my crabs' favorite foods - and now here is part two! A few more snacks they can't resist.
What a hermit crab eats will affect how healthy and active they are. They need (and love) protein, calcium, fruit, vegetables, seeds, nuts, etc.

Love this video! Do you ever have a problem with fruit flies or bats finding their way in or around the tank? Can you post a picture of the habitat I love seeing how others have theirs setup? Thanks for sharing!

I have gotten gnats in the past, and have put some vinegar in a little bowl with Saran Wrap (with holes).

@@twoclawsup441 great idea, thanks! Do your hermit crabs bother the bowl and/or wrap?
How do you film them in such brightness? I’ve tried to set up a camera to capture their movement at night but we literally never see ours active. 😢

I’ve used a Wyze cam at night (night vision mode on), and I have a UVB light in the lid that makes the tank bright during the day
