We all go thru seasons of wearing a bag less or more for extended periods of time and I think that’s completely normal. In fact, re-discovering your own bags and wearing them again makes it feel new again! Don’t feel bad you’ve only worn it a few times in the last year ❤️

So detailed Dani. The color looks so good with your complexion. I never realized that in order to buy a $15k bag you had to spend $15k in goods. Sheesh. I would so go the resale route like you did!

Aw thank you, Julie! Yeah it’s ridiculous. And that’s usually a minimum. I some places like LA where competition is really high or Canada/ Australia where stock is really low, some have pre-spent closer to 3x to get their bag🤮

Great feedback! You’ll use it a lot more when you get over the price. For 30 years, I’ve never put tubes of cream or drinks inside my bags, unless pouched. Of 52 luxury bags, none have stained or dirty insides. You’ll go through phases, but that color will always be fabulous! Thanks for yr video

I think authentication after buying a luxury bag is a must. I’m planning to take this back to Hermes for a spa at some stage😊

I love my 30!! I use it and don't baby it. I did get it in the dark neutral Ebene so its more under the radar than a bright color. Though it is expensive it never changes and will last as long as YOU last. Never heard of the contract issue but I'm in the States. Nice video!

Great review. Birkins are overrated. Most people would not be after them if they weren’t status bags. They’re annoying because they’re only top handle and they’re not secure and they look fussy. 25 is a terrible size because you can’t get it up your arm so you have to hand carry. It looks also ridiculous on some women who think because of popularity they have to go with 25. That size doesn’t work for everyone! The best sizes are 30-35. Kelly also is such an impractical bag. No security whatsoever. Mini kelly is even less practical because you can’t fit a phone. And Epsom is a terrible wearing leather.

Lotsa truth in that. Luckily I can get my arm through the handles of the b25. But the b30 and bigger, I feel like Hermes deliberately made them to torture people who carry them😅 I much prefer my Kelly but I have a 32 in retourne. So she is not bag as an every day. Color is a game changer. Even if that is a B25 in that salmon color, I wouldn’t buy it and rather buy a B30 in neutral color with rose gold hardware.

I’m tempted to get the 30 just for variety in my wardrobe. Most of my current bag collection are small to medium sized bags (lady diors, Chanel flaps and LV speedy). My roomiest is probably my speedy 25. Plus I want a Kelly in the 25. I currently don’t carry a lot also. I’m not sure if aiming for variety will affect me later where I don’t end up using the 30 as much since I’m more used to the smaller to medium sizes. I am also 5’4 so those sizes suit me well. But then again, what if there are days where I want to carry more and the be super grateful I have the 30 as an option lol. It’s so much to decide!

Yes, our dilemmas! 😆 whenever I’m not sure, I get a “trial bag”. One that is very similar in function and see if I would use it before I commit to the real thing. Cos it would be a shame to have the birkin 30 just sit on the shelf, unless you are like me and don’t mind owning bags for “collecting” purposes ❤️❤️😊

I get the sentiment though. Perhaps you’ll end up using it later, otherwise you can just sell it. If you can wait for the right moment, you will probably even make a profit.

I agree Dani when u said if u put it down others will be much interested in taking the bag vs the contents hehe. Great review learned a lot. Never knew when u get offered there is like a bInding contract. Also i feel the same way with my more expensive bags i carry them less vs my preloved and much more affordable bags.
