i feel Strab is not a clean fit, manfred is competent in his assholery. like if he decides "today i will mess YOU up" your day willl get harder. strab couldnt even virus bomb himself properly. also Manfred has a fanbase of those who love to hate him. Strab gets no such luxury.

Mannfred is more like Erebus.

@@morthosmaxori5354 True, even if he was basically following detailed instructions from the gods he at least achieved most what he set out to achieve. All Mannfred has achieved is sheer luck. Not sure which is worse but Mannfred has gotten what he deserves.

it's sad what happened to him he was character assassinated he was cool for a while and a bit funny also 17:30 no konrad in fantasy is more insane than 40k konrad like when He put his mother on trial for giving birth to him without this permission. Or when he turned hafling into a vampire

That artwork with the guy looking to the side in horror is, I suspect, a depiction of a guy seeing Mannfred coming towards them to offer them his "help." Clearly, he is one of the smart ones.

Pretty sure that he saw (amongst so many other things) some Tyranid rule 34, a guy who had a spider's reproductive system instead of a face, CS Goto's full list of fetishes, the Custodes' idea of a talent show, a crossover fanfic where Luthor Harkon recreates Sylvania in Westeros just because Walder Frey made his taste in coats look bad, another crossover fanfic (this one being 40K and FATAL) that basically consists of hentai so fucking disgusting that SLAANESH IS TRAUMATIZED, and a scene where the Chaos gods do absolutely nothing beyond watching Blackadder for the purpose of ruining it for everyone else.

As a proud supporter of the rightful Emperor, Vlad Von Karstein, and as someone who hates Mannfred Von Karstein with a burning passion that even Khorne would balk at, I am deeply offended that you would compare Mannfred to Herman Von Strabb. Yes, Mannfred is a shit-stain on the Warhammer Fantasy timeline and every day I pray he has to 1v1 Grimgor Ironhide in the Nehekaran desert at noon in the middle of Summer, but whereas Von Strabb is equally infuriating due to the fact that he is an entitled moron, Mannfred's conniving and backstabbing arrogance is the product of something else entirely; competence. Much as I hate how much of jackass Mannfred is written as, he's actually incredibly powerful and intelligent, and he nearly succeeded where Vlad had failed just by virtue of being a better Necromancer than Vlad and fighting like a vampire instead of a human. Granted the only reason Vlad failed in the first place was because Mannfred hired someone to steal his ring of immortality, but that still doesn't lessen Mannfred's accomplishments whenever his insufferable Sith Lord ego doesn't get the better of him. In fact, if memory serves me correctly, Mannfred has survived an encounter with Gotrek and Felix, which is more than most who have been in the same zip code as Gotrek and Felix can say.
