I’m so sorry this happened. I’ve had something stolen from me before when I wasn’t looking and it’s an awful feeling. Hope you find who did this and that you get the bag back.

Im SO sorry this happened to you 😥. I came back to LAX from Paris and got 4 brand new bags (two Chanel and two LV bags) stolen from me and I cried for days. My heart would never fully recover from the loss.

It is a sad fact that in Paris “ the originator of the high end designer handbags” you can’t wear yours without being robbed 🤬🤯🤯. I can’t count the number of people who faced that situation there . I am sorry your event ended up with that incident

My Longchamp bag was stolen in a Louis Vuitton boutique last month as I was busy returning a pair of shoes that I tried back in its box. Although I cried for help immediately, although the image of the thief (a woman) was clearly recorded in the camera, the security at the Galeries Lafayette and the police nearby could do nothing. They have better things to do....

Dear Margot, I'm so sorry your beautiful hermes constance bag was stolen! 😣 It's such a violation and it happens in the blink of an eye. One has to be ultra vigilant at all times. Some of my girlfriends have had wallets stolen out of their purses by the person sitting next to them and didn't realize until too late. I really hope you find your bag quickly. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I had a LV bag stolen in 1988 while I was sitting in a NYC restaurant. I filed a police report and my insurance covered the loss. Still, the trauma and sense of violation lingered for years afterwards. I am still very cautious till this day and never let my bag go while in public.

So sorry for the bad news. Let us know if anything develops from this incident. I too got my bag stolen. But I caught the person and snatched it back. I reported to security and they checked their cameras and saw the incident, later in the evening they arrested him trying to steal a scooter and he also stole a tip jar.

These types of thefts are often carried out by gangs, aka more than one person. Do you remember who you and your mother were talking to at the time it was stolen? Often one person is distracting you while the other person carries out the theft. Don’t be surprised if the security cameras weren’t working. I had my bag stolen in a cafe once, and turns out the security cameras weren’t working. We had a false sense of safety the whole time. My credit cards were charged within minutes, that’s how fast these guys are.

Usually with this type of crimes, they want to get rid of the item as soon as possible. If I see anything while I am on resale sites, I'll be on the look out for this bag. Good luck! I’m so sorry to hear this. I was working a promotion at a booth in Whole Foods Market a few years ago, and we all had our phones on the table. A young man came up while I was in the restroom and asked my coworker for some advice on pasta sauce that they sell there. She told him that she wasn’t sure because we didn’t actually work there, but recommended one that she had used herself and liked. When she turned around, all of the phones were gone. it was obvious that they had been working in a team to get her distracted so they could take the phones. Fortunately, phones are easy to replace, and not nearly the value of the item that you had stolen, but I do relate to that feeling of violation when you turn around and something is gone. I hope you find the bag.

I travel to Paris like a bag packer. I swear so many thief … don’t wear anything luxury to catch their eyes. Always always carry a chest bag

You could report it stolen to all reseller sites so it could be banned from being sold and taken to get on hold to you if they get it.

You should know that a Hermes shopping bag is a target for crime. Even Cartier provides their customers with a non-brand shopping bag so they are not a target for crime. You should have placed the bag in a non-descropt bag.
