Im from Chile, and my older sister used to listen to this song every day all day. I was like 12 years old. Nobody at home spoke English (now I do), but this song touched our hearts. Today, I had the pleasure of watching this video for the first time in 30+ years. 🥲

This song was recorded in, 1984 but it never gets old the way they sang this song is amazing God is wonderful

Throughout life there are many choices facing us. One of the most important is that of choosing God, and life with Him, over the lure of the world. Even after opting to follow God, we often allow a blindness to send us back into an old lifestyle. When we fall, we have to remember that it was a result of our choosing.

I remembered Monty Jackson in the year 1984. I was in high school. Two years later The Heritage Singers toured Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬, that included my old high school. I had since left the school 2 years earlier. Greatest Christian gospel music group ever that visited my humble school.

I was 13 years old and not a Christian when this came out. Shows that God is still amazing and wonderful at age 50.

"More than Wonderful" never gets old.

This song has really blessed me this sabbath! Great singing!!

Felt so convicted with this song. I just had so many things stuck in my mind, my ambitions and goals in life. To lift the name of Jesus to the highest must be our sole ambition in life

I grew up at very young age when i started hearing songs from the heritage singers. And i used to adore the group and love all their songs that i even memorised all the songs and would sing practically all the songs visualizing myself singing in the group, feeling so good about being part of the group. And i love the group since then till today that i sing all these songs wherever i go.. I loved the group and the songs forever and always.. My brother and I (8 and 5 years of age) had been put to bed, by the babysitter, in our home at Ragg Avenue, Tamavua, Suva, Fiji. Mum had left for her downtown concert. We two get the idea to jailbreak, we jump out the window, down the stairs, over the fence into the high grass and up the hill to the bus stop. Where, very fortunately, we met several other Seventh Day Adventists leaving the compound for the concert. We take the bus with them. We walk into the concert hall where mum is singing this song. This song is the one I associate most with her. Shortly thereafter the police come in and were no doubt glad to see us there and mum, no doubt surprised and flustered, was called from backstage for confirmation. Good times 😊

annabeth Morris I heard this version first and prefer it! Lionel and Sandi seem to focus more on their voices - belting the song out loudly and powerfully, without any soul/emotion... These two have the vocal kudos needed, but they kept the delivery simple and low key... 🤗 To God be the Glory! 🙌🏾

They sing this song so beautifully....I can't stop listening to them.

Frankly, I love the song. The beat really makes my stomach ill. I thought one day when there was a song service before a Darrell Sawyer program that i was getting the flu and so told my husband. He being trained in music from Walla Walla, by Dr. Lickey, learned the right way to sing. You all putting that beat in there made me so that i HAD TO STOP THE VIDEO. bY THE WAY, Bob Silverman and my husband did a CD TOGETHER and it is a great blessing.
