I was 27 years old back in 84, and was a youth leader in my curch in Chile, the young members decided to form a choir an sing these wonderfull songs in the church, the old conservative group reacted, but God helped us to make them understand and acceept the young people needs by that time, it worked out marvellously, many of those young people are occupying key positions in the church worldwide today. It is such a blessed inspiration to listen to these songs again after 50 years .

Heard this beautiful message song, when I was just 16 years old at Sandia View Academy in New Mexico. Loved it. And today as I'm sitting here, in my 50's listening to it again, I am presently reaching out to a friend through God's Divine intervention. "Lord I know you loVe him."

now the adventist station 91.9 in maryland, i dont listen to it because its a rock song. i dont feel a difference from listening to rock music. i can tell coz im in a band.

Well said, that's it. Baalism has replaced true sacredness -- one of the signs of these times. SDA institutions don't see they've sold out and are repeating the ancient church's mistakes. Pop culture mosaic is substituted for true godliness now, as it was in Jeremiah's time. Righteousness by works, as it were. But Christ is gonna clean house-- lock, stock and barrel. So I'm hopeful in these heartbreaking times.

yeah but this was controversial at the time as well.... how quickly we forget. they used to gripe about that "canned" music instead of using piano and organ.

This was the first Heritage Singers song I heard growing up. I remember we even had the performance track at one point. A beautiful song indeed, still one of my favourite songs from the Heritage Singers.

This looks like the 1980s. I love that she is dressed so modestly.

Wow what a song. ..Christian or not this song relates to everyone that has lost or experienced someone through hardship

Monty brought amazing voice to the Heritage Singers. He is one the greatest tenor voices that graced God's people with the Heritage Singers.. We didn't see him in all Heritage Réunion concerts.. What happened to him? Was he rejected by Heritage Singers?
