Here’s Why You Don’t Cause Trouble When You Have Outstanding Warrants

On July 2, 2022 in Washington, Officer Helms and Hedlund were dispatched to a disturbance call regarding a woman threatening employees at a tea store. When they arrived, the woman had left, but after a brief search, they located her down the street. This is footage of the events that followed.

He met a woman at a professional conference and they started dating. One thing led to another and she got pregnant. He moved her into his house and that is when he found out WHAT he had on his hands. She was an addict living off credit cards and her parents. He started custody paperwork when she was 5 months pregnant, made arrangements with the OBGYN and hospital to keep the baby away from her until DCFS and the police got there. Of course the courts were trying their best to give her total custody of the baby when she was born, addicted of course. The baby was in foster care for 6 months while my friend fought for his child's life. Thank goodness and the mother's parents, she was arrested and jailed for 3 years, which granted him total custody. That woman presented as a totally together, employed person with no signs of the demons that held her. No, drug addicts need mental health & substance abuse treatment so they can get better and then maybe be in a position to have kids and live a fulfilling life. Are all addicts good? Certainly not, but a lot are good people stuck in a bad cycle. Mandatory birth control...? That’s insane...not everybody who takes drugs is a useless parent. I can prove it too, cuz plenty of parents get prescribed very addictive opiates for chronic pain diseases, and can do just fine. Do you recommend sterilizing those folks from giving birth as well in your little fascist fantasy? Crazy how Americans will do anything to just outright eliminate any problems in their society, and pretend they don’t exist, rather than learn how to actually navigate the problems. Like the things they deem acceptable when it comes to fixing “problems” really makes you see their moral compass for what it is. When I see this, I sometimes reflect on the reality that, at some point, this woman was a baby. She, like others, cried out for feeds, attention, love, and care. To see her reduced to this is actually tragic.

I had a former daughter-in-law who was a drug addict and kept having kids. All were removed from her “care”. My son has custody of her second daughter, the first was raised by the grandparents, the third was adopted by the foster family, she has had 4 more children, and lives in another state. Don’t know if she has custody or not. I still receive phone calls from agencies around the country looking for her. This has been an 18 year ordeal. Drug addicts don’t realize or care the strain they put on their families. They are professional liars. EVERY word the comes out of their mouths is a filthy lie. They are the most self-centered individuals, without a care for the damage they’ve done. I realize drug addiction is a disease, but I don’t have to have a gram of empathy for the total and lasting destruction to my family or the lives she brought into this world. I can’t believe she is still out there causing havoc to other people she encounters. When I look at this girl, I see the same waste of air that lived among my family. I hang on to the anger as I never want to forget how to avoid the manipulation of a druggie.

No disrespect, but I don't believe drug addiction is a disease. It is a choice. Our misguided society chooses to call it a disease and that is what has brought us to this point.

Dopesickness isn’t fun, but you get through it. As someone who has had plenty of personal experience with opioid withdrawal, I am so tired of addicts using it as an excuse for continuing to use. If you honestly want to take back your life and do right by your children and other loved ones, dopesickness is insignificant.
